Retro City Rampage sequel, Shakedown Hawaii, announced for PS4, PS Vita, 3DS & PC
16 bit 风格 2D 动作游戏《Shakedown Hawaii》公布最新宣传影片


  2012 年曾推出《Retro City Rampage》的独立游戏开发团队 Vblank Entertainment 日前发表了走全新怀旧路线的 PC/PS4/PS Vita 版 2D 动作游戏《Shakedown Hawaii》,同时公布最新宣传影片。

  本作为一款以《Retro City Rampage》30 年后的夏威夷为舞台,描述原本过着退隐生活的主角为了重建犯罪组织而再出江湖的犯罪动作游戏,不但游戏画面从前作的 8 bit 进化到 16 bit 风格,以枪击及破坏为主轴的轻快动作以及重建犯罪组织所需要的管理要素相互呼应,成为本作两大特色。

  本作预定将于 12 月 5 日至 6 日在加州洛杉矶举办的 PlayStation Experience 2015 中试玩展出。



   








Shakedown Hawaii: Vblank’s New Open World Adventure

It’s been three years since Retro City Rampage was released, but a new game from Vblank Entertainment is finally on its way for PS4 and PS Vita! Check out the trailer for a sneak peek.

Shakedown Hawaii brings the Vblank open world universe into the 16-bit era, powered up with destructible environments and an arsenal of supercharged weapons. Taking place some thirty years after the events of Retro City Rampage, the game follows The Player as he comes out of early retirement to rebuild his neglected corporate empire.

What a tease! I know that’s not much to go on, but much more will be revealed next-next weekend, as Shakedown Hawaii makes its first playable debut at PlayStation Experience December 5-6th.

《受赞颂者》系列最新作《受赞颂者 两人之白皇》2016 年 9 月 21 日发售

  AQUAPLUS 在 2015 年 11 月 28 日,于东京的两国国技馆所举办的「大 AQUAPLUS 祭」活动中正式发表《受赞颂者》系列的最新作《受赞颂者 两人之白皇(暂译,うたわれるもの 二人の白皇)》。 发售日期为 2016 年 9 月 21 日,游戏平台尚未公布。

  此外,也在第二天的活动中,公布了新角色「夫米露路(フミルィル CV:仪武ゆう子)」。 此角色是于《受赞颂者》OVA 第一话中所登场,被乌露托利所照顾的那名小婴儿。 从会场所公布的视觉图来看,是一名外表看似约18岁上下、沉着冷静的一名美女。

日本环球影城 Cool Japan 2016 情报更新《魔物猎人》等身大黑炎王、金雷公登场

   日本环球影城继今年首度推出「Cool Japan」特别企划后,将于明(2016)年 1 月 15 日起至 6 月 26 日推出升级版的游乐设施内容,本次的「Cool Japan」特别企划除了既有的《福音战士》、《恶灵古堡》、《进击的巨人》、《魔物猎人》都将推出新一波的期间限定设施与活动外,还加入了日本知名歌手卡莉怪妞的主题设施。 而近日官方也进一步公开了更多的企划相关信息,除了各种特色游乐设施外,各合作企划也将推出许多特色餐饮及周边商品。。

   日本环球影城官方表示,本次为全球首度启用的「XR 设施」,是以运用视觉与听觉的 VR 虚拟现实为基础,加上让人有从 200 公尺垂直落下的重力感觉,将刺激人体的六感、透过 360 度的环景影像来感受前所未有的体验。 而该设施首播便是配合 Cool Japan 特别企划,推出担任活动大使的卡莉怪妞主题,并由知名音乐制作人 中田康贵(曾为「尾田栄一郎监修 ONE PIECE 展」、《航海王电影:Z》制作主题曲,也为卡莉怪妞制、Perfume 等人编曲)创作设施的主题曲。

   在设施中大家将探索卡莉怪妞可爱的秘密,朝向「卡莉工厂(きゃりーファクトリー)」出发,在色彩缤纷的奇妙世界中展开冒险。

Fallen Legion on PS4 Brings More “Action” to Action RPGs

Hi PlayStation Nation! We’ve been burning the midnight oil creating Fallen Legion, a dark fantasy action RPG with hand-drawn 2D artwork and an intense battle system where skill is more important than grinding for experience points.

Fallen Legion begins with Princess Cecille standing on a battlefield, with her weary army behind her, gazing into an approaching beast brigade. The King of Fenumia’s threads of life were cut short and he passed on relics as well as the responsibility of ruling her crumbling country to Cecille. Among the king’s effects is a talking book that has the power to breathe life into weapons. This enigmatic Grimoire knows the truth about Fenumia and her home isn’t the idyllic kingdom the citizens believe it is.

I love RPGs and fighting games. This shows in Fallen Legion’s unique battle system that blends both genres together. Cecille brings up to three Exemplars — weapons turned into soldiers by the Grimoire — in battle with her. Zulfiqar is heavy hitter who can also protect other Exemplars with his sturdy shield. Longinus is a damage dealer with multi-hit spear strikes. Apollon can debilitate enemies with status effects. Each character has their own action bar and it’s possible to start slashing with Zulfiqar then switch to Apollon to shoot a barrage of arrows.

Actually, we want you to do that. If you cancel an attack you can create a powerful link combo which unleashes an Exemplar’s secret techniques. Zulfiqar can smite enemies with his shield and Longinus can drill enemies with her spear. Each character also has a deathblow and whoever lands the last attack on the combo bar delivers their super move. If you want to rend an enemy with Zulfiqar’s Sky Splitter, have him as the last attacker or make Longinus last to pierce all enemies with her spear.

Pressing the “L1” button makes characters block and if you time a block right before an enemy strikes you’ll trigger Perfect Guard which can stagger enemies or reflect projectiles. Ever wanted to send a dragon’s fireball back at it? You can do that in Fallen Legion!

While Cecille cuts through goblins, she also has to rule Fenumia. Players have to make split second decisions and choose which factions to side with. Your choices affect how the people of Fenumia think of you and what buffs your Exemplars receive in battle. You can get life extending vitality boosts, an extra deathblow slot on the combo bar or a card that allows you to go wild and attack non-stop for one battle. All boosts last for a single stage and if you make different choices, the way you fight monsters will change considerably.

There’s so much more I want to say about Fallen Legion like how we create our hand-drawn artwork, what other Exemplars you can summon, and who our story writer is. If you’re coming to PlayStation Experience come up and ask me these questions! Fallen Legion will be playable at the show and we have some cool swag for everyone that comes by to play it.

Sierra Plans to Release the Second Chapter of King's Quest Worldwide on December 16th

Sierra has announced today that King’s Quest: Rubble Without a Cause, the second chapter of the new King’s Quest, is expected to launch worldwide on 16th December on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment systems, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC via Steam.

In this latest page in the acclaimed reimagining of the classic adventure gaming series, King Graham takes players back to his first test as ruler of Daventry. When a band of goblins holds the kingdom hostage, a newly crowned and ill-equipped Graham must lead a daring rescue to free his people and prove himself the leader they deserve. But the choices he makes along the way may have dire consequences for those most counting on him.

In addition, King’s Quest’s first chapter, King’s Quest: A Knight to Remember , is free to download on the PlayStation 4 system from the PlayStation Store throughout December starting today for PlayStation Plus members.

  知名赛车游戏 Dirt 系列作品《Dirt Rally》很有可能即将推出 Xbox One/PS4 版本,如果这部作品出现在台湾的家用主机游戏分级列表不是意外的话

  一名眼尖的 Twitter 用户 Lifelower 最近注意到 Xbox One 与 PS4 被列在《Dirt Rally》游戏所属平台列表中(Codemasters 工作室到目前为止仅透过 PC Steam 上的早期存取服务 Early Access 来释出本作)。 《Dirt Rally》于今年 4 月闪电公布,虽然当时游戏仍旧处于开发中版本,不过玩家们可以选择以 31.49 美金的价格优先买单。

  Codemasters 当时就表示:「透过 Early Access 的方式推出游戏『确实连我们自己都感到惊讶』,不过是往好的方面,毕竟其目的是希能让各位玩家感受到自己同为开发团队的一份子,藉此来协助我们让游戏更加完善。 」

  在 GameSpot 对于《Dirt Rally》开发中版本的试玩评论当中,曾表示「游戏制作出的价值与成果仍有进步的空间,不过游戏本身所塑造既扎实而富有深度的竞速典范基本上已经能够大大补足这项缺点。 」

  「虽然某些难度比较高的挑战并不是每位玩家都可以轻易上手,不过我相信大部份的玩家都能够乐于从各个层面当中去寻找属于自己精通游戏的方式并且保有期待。 整体而言,这显然不是我们过去熟悉的《Dirt》系列游戏,却是一部去芜存菁后的全新作品,我想我会推荐各位玩家们亲自下场较劲一番。 」

Philippe Moreau here, Game Director on Vampyr, the new RPG from Dontnod Entertainment, the studio behind Life is Strange!

I’m here today to give you a brief overview of where we’re going with our new game, and answer some questions that you might have! Let’s start!

• What can you tell us about the gameplay of Vampyr?

Vampyr is an action RPG with tight, visceral combat mechanics, exploration, and investigation – you’ll have to collect many clues, and talk to many people as you prowl the streets of London.

With the use of vampiric powers – as you’d expect! – and authentic ‘make-shift’ weapons, such as a saw (our protagonist is a surgeon, after all!) you’ll be fighting both mythical terrors and human foes.

You’ll also be able to make use of different ranged weapons, and there’s more to the combat, but we’re not ready to reveal that yet.

One of the most interesting things is that everyone you meet in Vampyr could be a target, if you want. But each kill will have consequences on the fragile streets of London. You’ll both see those consequences, and feel them. They’ll have an effect on the story, often immediately, and in the long-run. Vampires have to eat, after-all. But as the saying goes, ‘you are what you eat’ – at least, in Reid’s mind. He’s a very human vampire… at least, he hasn’t forgotten where he came from. Do not think that makes him ‘good’, though. You’ll see.

• Why base a vampire game on the 1918 London Spanish Flu epidemic?

We wanted to tell a truly gothic story about vampires – a far cry from the glittery vampires you see on TV and in movies nowadays. The mood had to be just right.

England was recovering from the aftermath of the World War I, and the Spanish Flu was making its way through London’s winding alleys. The streets were rife with death and crime, but England was also going through many social and political changes, as new sciences sought to re-envision the way we see the world. Superstition was becoming less socially relevant, but it was still in the streets, folklore, and politics of London, so science was on the rise, but the world was still a dark, scary place. Especially the smoggy, smokey, war-torn streets of London.







• Who is Jonathan Reid, the game’s protagonist?

Now, this really ties in well with the first question. Reid was a doctor in the war – he’s a scientist, specialising in blood. Familiar with a new blood transfusion technique used in the war, Reid is quite the skeptic of all things supernatural, so as you can imagine he’s finding it rather difficult to come to terms with his new… condition.

A rational man, Reid wants to come to terms with vampirism – he wants to understand it. Basically, he wants to treat it as a medical condition, but as you play through the story and meet many of the characters in the game, you’ll discover that things are much more… organised, or deliberate, than that.

• How are we faithfully recreating London in this period in history?

We researched the events surrounding the catastrophic flu endured by London in 1918, but also research about the medical and scientific enlightenment of this period.

The authorities in London barely managed to handle the epidemic, since they were recovering from the trials of the Great War, and didn’t want to communicate too much on the flu to London’s populace to reduce panic, and manage people.

This grim vision of London is presented in hundreds of historical documents and visual accounts of the flu, each darker than those before it. But for the streets, architecture and feeling of London, there are many factual but also fictional references that are fantastic visual reference pieces.

• What role does player choice have in Vampyr?

Killing innocent people is unfortunately the price of immortality. Besides, in the eyes of a vampire, how do you define innocent? You’ll have to kill people, that’s for sure… but how do you decide who? The information you gather, the things that you see, and the relationships your nurture will all define your decisions. But you will have to feed. You cannot escape that you are a vampire.

《墨西哥英雄大冒险》工作室新作《断裁骑士》新预告片放出


  曾开发《墨西哥英雄大冒险》的Drinkbox工作室制作的PSV新作——《断裁骑士(Severed)》公布了最新预告片。这是一款以触摸为主要操作形式的开放世界第一人称游戏(有点像《水果忍者》、《无尽之剑》),主人公名为Sasha,是一位独臂士兵。在一次灾难性的事件之后,他发现自己来到了一个陌生的世界。在这里,他接受了迷之生物提供的剑,踏上了寻找故乡的旅程。

  在宣传片中,我们可以看到画面下方存在一个“聚焦表”,击败敌人时聚焦表会慢慢积累,当积攒至最大值时,玩家可以进入“切断模式”。在这一模式中,Sasha会将敌人抛至空中将其四肢切断,被切下来的部分是升级技能所必要的道具。除去战斗之外,游戏的世界中还有很多秘密等着玩家去发掘,不同的迷宫也有不同类型的谜题。即使是已经造访过一次的迷宫,再次去探险的时候也会发现很多新的秘密。



   


New Trailer for Severed on PS Vita Reveals a Dangerous World

It’s been awhile since we’ve posted anything about our upcoming PS Vita game, http://severedgame.com/. We’ve had our heads down working hard finishing up development, and we’ve just put together a brand new trailer that we’re excited to share with you all. Check it out!

In Severed you play as a one-armed warrior named Sasha, who wakes up in a surreal new world after a catastrophic event. After obtaining a living sword from a mysterious cloaked creature, Sasha sets off on an epic journey in search of her missing family.

Combat is done primarily using the touchscreen, but Severed is definitely not a casual game. In fact, we think that using the touchscreen for sword combat has allowed us to make the game a much more deep and complex experience than button-based sword fighting ever could have been.

Each monster in Severed requires a different strategy to deal with, and once you’ve figured out how to deal with a single enemy you’ll quickly be presented with multiple enemies of different types at once.







Sasha has a “focus meter” that increases by fighting enemies efficiently. Once full, the focus meter grants the ability to enter “sever mode,” in which you can throw enemies into the air and sever off their vulnerable limbs. These enemy pieces are used to upgrade Sasha’s abilities, a necessary requirement to be effective against increasingly difficult enemy combinations later in the game.

As you progress through the game’s dungeons, you’ll encounter more powerful boss monsters that each have unique abilities. Severing these bosses will leave behind carcasses which Sasha can wear to gain abilities. While the gameplay of Severed is in first person, you can keep track of how your character looks by checking the game’s upgrade screen, or via mirrors you’ll find throughout the world.

But wait! There’s more to the game than just combat! Severed takes place in a large open world filled with secrets to uncover. Each dungeon will present you with new puzzle mechanics that will be required to solve impassable barriers. Over the course of the game you’ll also find yourself re-exploring old sections of the world, using newly acquired powers to open pathways to hidden surprises, challenges, and rewards.

New Trailer for This War of Mine: The Little Ones Highlights PS4 Gameplay

Hello! Pawel from 11 bit studios here with the latest trailer for This War of Mine: The Little Ones where you can see footage from PS4 for the very first time.

I also want to give you a bit of insight into the kind of experience you will have in the game, from the perspective of a “Little one.” To do that, I want you to turn on your imagination and put yourself in their shoes.

Imagine you are a 10 year old child. Right now you’re trapped with your father in a city under siege. There is nowhere to run. Then you and your father are joined by another two civilians, it may be easier and safer to stay together.

“The building you’re in seems like a good cover,” they say.









It’s already winter, and you start to feel unwell. Bruno — one of the guys who joined your little group and who initially seemed a bit selfish — gives you some medication after you ask him for help. It’s the very last bit of medicine, let′s hope you feel better. If not, someone will have to go and get some more in the cover of night. After that, Bruno tries to cook something from the last pieces of food he has on an improvised stove.

Later, you get bored but your father told you to stay in the shelter because it’s too dangerous outside. What do you do? Hey, maybe you could run up and down the stairway? It gets boring after a while. Let’s play some hopscotch then.

Something feels bad. You notice your father is sad. The other folks also seem a bit down. You realize that things may end up badly. They act normal but they know the truth. And as energetic as you are, those bad feelings sneak into your mind, too. You feel like talking to your Dad. You want to hear something good, have a glimpse of your old good life. Dad always knows how to cheer you up. It’s not that bad outside especially when he finds a moment to play rock-paper-scissors with you, right? Dad is trying to fix a broken wooden bed — the only bed in the building, for you, so at least you don’t have to sleep on the cold floor.









You go to talk to Roman, the other civilian hidden in the shelter with you. Roman is a nice guy. He says he will teach you how to collect rainwater and how to filter it quickly. That’s better. You can help these people after all. Roman promises to teach you how to grow herbs tomorrow. As the evening comes closer, you feel the tension growing. Dad and the guys talk, someone has to go outside and try to find some food. Then it turns out it will be him. You realize this is very serious. You may not see him return tomorrow...

That is just a glimpse into the kind of experience you will have in This War of Mine: The Little Ones.

You are the narrator of the story and you’ll decide what happens with the father and with his kid.
