Shovel Knight Xbox One physical release cancelled due to 'publishing policies'



《钢铲骑士》实体版将推迟两周发售 售价上涨

  此前官方曾透露《钢铲骑士》实体版将于2015年10月13日发售,不过根据最新的情报,本作的实体版将推迟两周上市。日前新发售日已经确认,本作实体版将于2015年10月30日登陆欧洲,11月3日则将登陆北美,游戏将登陆3DS、WiiU、PS4和PC平台(PC实体版仅限欧洲地区发售),而令人遗憾的是,原本预计推出的XBOX One实体版已被取消。

  对XBOX One实体版的取消,Yacht Club Games也做出了解释:“我们尽了最大的努力,但不幸的是,该平台的发行政策完全超出了我们的控制,我们无法做到这一点了。我们非常抱歉,我们知道大家对此都非常有兴趣。预订状况非常好,我们也感谢大家的支持。”

  本作实体版的售价也有所上涨,最初公开的售价为19.99美元,而现在官方更新的最新售价24.99美元。对此他们表示:“虽然最初大家都同意19.99美元的价格,但是一些零售商跑来展示他们有限的货架,并表示这些位置的游戏有一定的价格规则。我们不希望我们的‘廉价’游戏直接被直接放在折价商品区里默默无闻,所以我们不得不提高售价。”不过为了弥补涨价的问题,Yacht Club Games表示在实体版游戏中将会包含本作数字版原声集的免费下载码。

  此外官方还表示他们也在努力打造本作的PSV实体版,不过看样子无法在假日期间推出。

Shovel Knight - Retail Update

What’s up Shovelers and Plague Doctors! Enjoying Plague of Shadows? With this update, we’re slingin’ accurate information about Shovel Knight, soon to be the hottest game on retail shelves!

There’s been some tumult with the physical version release of Shovel Knight. You may have noticed storefronts changing wildly lately…and that’s because a lot of decisions have been being made internally to help make this release possible. Retailers and websites tend to update their information at different times to keep their side up-to-date, but we wanted to make sure we had absolutely certain information before laying out the facts. We also wanted to be sure to explore all possible solutions too. So for all those looking for answers, here they are!

Release Date Change

November 3rd for North America, October 30th for Europe.

The final few steps of the Plague of Shadows content took a little longer than expected, but it was important to us that this update to be on the disc/cart right out of the box! Unfortunately that meant we had to push back the date just a little a bit. Luckily, all of the teams throughout the various console manufacturing steps have been really helpful in reducing this knock-on delay as much as possible.

Xbox One Retail Version Cancelled

With extremely heavy hearts, we’re sad to announce there will not be an Xbox One physical version this holiday. We really gave it our best effort, but unfortunately, because of publishing policies on that platform that are totally beyond our control, we couldn’t make it happen. We’re very sorry…we know there is a lot of interest – the pre-orders were really good and we thank everyone for their support!

We’ll keep fighting to get a retail version on Xbox One, but as of now, the boxed version is in indefinite limbo. The digital version of Shovel Knight on Xbox One is already available and will, of course, continue to receive new updates and our full support!

Price Change for Physical version – now $24.99

In an unexpected turn of events, we’ve had to raise the price of our game to $24.99. Although everyone initially agreed to a $19.99 price point, some retailers ran into trouble with limited space to show off their wares, and the rules in place about where games with certain prices are displayed. We didn’t want our ‘bargain priced’ game to go straight to the bargain bin of obscurity, so we had to raise the price.

However, we didn’t want anyone to feel as if they were getting hoodwinked just because of our retail situation! If you have already pre-ordered Shovel Knight, your retailer should honor the original price!

We’ve been working hard every day to ensure the physical version is a welcome addition to your game library. From box cover to disc to full color instruction manual. Lastly, to make the package even more compelling at its new price, we’ve added even more!

Physical version comes with Digital Soundtrack!!

All versions of the physical release will now come with a free soundtrack download. We know this is a bit redundant, as the soundtrack is ‘pay what you want’ online, but this provides a guilt free way to formally obtain the full, high-quality version of the soundtrack for free! Hopefully, it also gets Jake Kaufman’s beautiful soundtrack into more people’s hands for those people who are unaware of Bandcamp!

Vita Version – Not Yet!

Many of you have expressed your enthusiasm in seeing a retail Vita version happen! While we can confirm one won’t be shipping this holiday, we are still working our hardest to make it possible! Hang in there a bit longer, and hopefully we can make something happen! In the meantime, if you want to play Shovel Knight on your Vita right now, the digital version is available for download at right this very moment!

Shovel Knight amiibo Update!?!

For all those wondering about all things Shovel Knight amiibo, we hope to have more updates soon. We’re still pinning down a final release date. As soon as we know, you’ll know! Many have asked for us to open up preorders in North America — and so do know that we are considering it. Hopefully when we announce the release date we’ll have more info on that front!

《Firewatch》将于9日2月2016年上市 故事背景公开


  在E3索尼发布会上亮相的《Firewatch》以独特的风格吸引了很多玩家的目光,近日,其制作组CAMPO SANTO正式宣布该作品将于2016年2月9日登陆PS4及PC平台。

  本作的主角Henry对于之前人生感到无比的厌倦,于是决定在荒野做一名防火员。这份工作需要他在山顶留意有没有浓烟,以防止引起火灾,保证安全。而Henry与外界联系的唯一途径就是他手中的对讲机,通过它可以与他的女上司Delilah进行沟通。当主人公在塔顶发现有些事情不对劲的时候,整个故事就开始了。

Overlord: Fellowship of Evil Information Film Teaches Netherghūls the Intricacies of Being Evil

The devious development minions at Codemasters today unearthed the latest video for Overlord: Fellowship of Evil, their digital only, angelically-priced, devilishly fun Action RPG which is coming to PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC on October 20th.

As the video discusses, while looking suitably terrifying is important to up-and-coming Netherghūls, being truly evil isn’t just about having the biggest sword, or the pointiest shoulder pads. To be truly nefarious, one must consider the killing, the pillaging and many other important aspects, including the “ever popular evisceration and immolation of your colleagues”.

“The Netherghūls in Overlord: Fellowship of Evil are a real bunch of ne’er-do-wells, as you’d expect from an Overlord game.” said Carl Johnson, Chief Design Minion, Codemasters “They’re as likely to stab each other in the back as they are to work together.”

“Evilis about more than just looks, it’s a way of life.” said Gnarl, Evil Minion Master “There’s the carnage! And the looting! And the running-away-very-fast-avoiding-horrific-death.”

Overlord: Fellowship of Evil will be available on October 20th. Gamers who pre-order the game on the Steam store can grab themselves some exclusive Team Fortress 2 hats for their minions plus ‘Da Big Book of Art’ Digital Artbook and from today Xbox One owners can pre-order the game on the Xbox digital store with a 10% discount.

Overlord: Fellowship of Evil is a dark and twisted Action RPG filled with the series’ signature black humour. Penned by award-winning original Overlord scriptwriter Rhianna Pratchett, Overlord: Fellowship of Evil delivers an epic new quest featuring four Netherghūls – undead servants of the dark arts, resurrected in the absence of a true Overlord, to bring evil back to a world overrun by the forces of good.

We are getting close to our World Premiere launch event for Minecraft: Story Mode! Tonight, October 12th at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, CA, the Minecraft community, Telltale fans, YouTubers and streamers along with some of the cast and crew will come together for the 'World's Largest Let's Play', cheering and directing the decisions on the giant screen from the audience! While seating is limited inside of the theater, many have been asking how they can get a peek at the fun. Today, we can announce that we'll officially be streaming the event on YouTube Gaming! It was an incredible, electric evening all made possible by the enthusiasm of fans. Laughs were had, tears were shed, and psycho faces were punched.

Home Free Coming to PS4

Hi, I’m Kevin Cancienne, and I’m working on a game called Home Free, about the life of a dog lost in a randomly generated city. You play as that dog. You’ll need to find food, a safe place to sleep, and friends, both human and canine. Eventually, hopefully, you’ll find home.

I’m currently crowdfunding Home Free over on Kickstarter, and today I’m very happy to announce that I’ll be bringing the game to PlayStation 4!

I’ve been building Home Free for over two years now. It was born when I combined two projects I’d been working on — a procedural CityEngine and a local multiplayer dog wrasslin’ game called Dog Park.

It currently seems like we’re living in the golden age of video game dogs: the dog in COD: Ghosts, DD in MGS5, and Dogmeat in Fallout 4. And there have been a few games, over the years, where you get to play as a dog: Cult favorite A Dog’s Life on PS2, of course. You can even briefly control Chop in GTA V. And Okami has a special place in my heart (OK, technically Amaterasu isn’t a dog, she’s a mythological wolf sun goddess. But still).

I was interested in making a game where you’re basically just a dog, seeing the world from a dog’s perspective. A game where you can run, jump, wrestle, tackle, and sniff butts. That’s why I started by creating Dog Park for NYU’s No Quarter Show in 2014. I wanted to create a game about the sheer joy and physicality of dog play.







But ultimately, I had something bigger in mind. The idea of being a dog in an open world city game seemed like something I had to pursue. A dog can’t steal a car or shoot a gun, but has to use its instincts to survive in an environment that wasn’t built with canines in mind.

With my random city generator, I had a way to create a place where no one’s been before, a place where every player can feel truly lost. I was inspired by the vibrant, abstract visions of Tokyo on display in games like Jet Set Radio and Katamari Damacy, and now I had a way to create a near-infinite number of variations on them.

Home Free still has a way to go, which is why I took the game to Kickstarter. I estimate I still have about another year of work to do until it’s done. Kickstarter has helped me get the money I need to focus completely on the project and to pay some folks to help with the parts I can’t do myself. The Kickstarter is now fully funded, but there are still some fun stretch goals to reach. And if you back it now, you can reserve yourself a digital copy when it comes out on PS4.

I recently checked out the Home Free trailer on the big TV in my living room for the first time. Seeing it like that, a glimpse of how it will look on PS4, briefly gave me chills. The game already feels great with a controller in your hand, and I’m so happy to be able to share it with PlayStation owners around the world.

Furi feeds on the tension of one-on-one fights against deadly adversaries. It’s an intense, ultra-responsive hack-and-slash with a unique mix of fast-paced sword fighting and dual-stick shooting. Each of the formidable guardians—designed by Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki—has a unique and surprising combat style that requires focus and skill to defeat. History

The story of Furi starts ten years ago, when Emeric was asked what he would do if he could make his dream game. He came up with a game that would be one long boss fight. A boss fight against an opponent similar to you, not a gigantic creature or a demon. A boss fight that felt like a duel— a tense, exhausting, and utterly rewarding duel. Furi is the manifestation of this idea that stuck with Emeric, as he grew as a designer and set up The Game Bakers. Furi is a game where you fight for a reason. It's a game that teases you before the fight, while you walk toward your fate, the same way you would be pumped up and stressed before a boxing match. The combat gameplay is designed with Japanese games in mind — ultra fast-paced and responsive. Your character moves as soon as you send an input. Skills and reflexes are required to dodge and parry the enemies’ attacks.
