Sony DADC announces downloadable Fluster Cluck for PS4
PS4独占本地多人游戏《咯咯哒大乱斗》




  前一阵,索尼DADC曾经申请商标“Fluster Cluck”《咯咯哒大乱斗》,让我们对这个诡异奇葩而又略显淘气的标题充满了疑问和好奇。今天,索尼发表新闻公告,称《咯咯哒大乱斗》的确是一款游戏,而且是一款PS4独占游戏,由索尼DADC内部工作室LOOT负责开发。

  《咯咯哒大乱斗》将让玩家置身于另一个星球的外太空宇宙冒险中,期间伴随着快节奏动作挑战,光怪陆离的外星生物,以及紧张刺激的乱斗体验,让玩家一直留在游戏中。

  玩家前来帮助两名“小鸡集团”(Chikkin Koop)的雇员,Pimento 和 Comichon,帮助他们“鸡杀”一切障碍,实现梦想,升职加薪,成为中层管理者。这款快节奏动作射击游戏同时提供单人和多人模式,玩家可以通过绑架牛,骆驼,僵尸来收集资源,同时与敌人战斗,解锁新装备,晋升等级与位阶。改作将于今年夏季登陆PSN,独家面向PS4,将在下周的E3大展上提供试玩。

  LOOT工作室经理总裁David Sterling在公布本作的同时表示,这款游戏将提供本地多人游戏末世,最多支持4人同屏游戏。LOOT工作室是索尼DADC的新晋团队,人员来自索尼电子娱乐,Treyarch和EA。在此之前他们曾开发过PS Home 项目积累经验。

Sony DADC's LOOT Entertainment, a leading interactive entertainment company, announced today the impending release of Fluster Cluck on the PlayStation 4 (PS4) computer entertainment system. Answering online speculation behind the game's title, Fluster Cluck takes players on an out-of-this-world, cosmic adventure riddled with fast-paced challenges, unusual intergalactic beings, and quite a few flusters to keep gamers coming back for more. Slated for official release to the PlayStation®4 game store in summer 2014, Fluster Cluck will be available to play during E3 June 10-12, 2014 exclusively at the Nyko booth (LA Convention Center West Hall, booth #5010).

Players come to the aid of two lowly Chikkin Koop employees, Pimento and Cornichon, to help them "chikkinize" everything in sight in hopes of realizing their dream of being promoted to middle-management. The fast-paced time-trial, action shooter game features single and multi-player modes that have players gathering resources by abducting cows, camels, zombies, and battling enemies as they strive to unlock new equipment and climb the corporate ladder.

"Since the dawn of videogames, memorable adventures are those that feature high degrees of competition and challenge. Fluster Cluck is one of those games," said David Sterling, Managing Director, LOOT Entertainment. "In addition to an engaging single player campaign, Fluster Cluck also features a riotous local multiplayer mode for up to four players which will have gamers smacking the 'cluck' out of each other, both on screen and off."

Flyhunter Origins Buzzes Onto PS Vita Soon

Hello, I’m Andrew Dayton, Co-Founder of Steel Wool Games. Getting the green light to make our first game doesn’t seem that long ago. And now, we’re living the dream and exhibiting Flyhunter Origins on PS Vita this year at E3!

Steel Wool Games was started by five animated film veterans (including myself) with a shared love for games, a desire to create something fun together and a combined 60 years of film animation experience. Sounds simple, probably makes for a good story. How hard could it be?

Well, hard… exceptionally hard in fact. But it was also an absolutely amazing experience.

We knew what we were good at and were well aware of what we lacked in experience. Being a gamer makes you no more fit to design a game than an avid movie watcher would be directing a film. Joshua (one of our other Co-Founders) had experience building game rules for his table top gaming company Zombiesmith, so we had a good grounding in game mechanics. Building a game that we wanted to play ourselves was daunting but we were determined. We did our research, studied games of the genre and we took advantage of the experience in game craft from our publisher Ripstone. But what were the speed bumps?

Since we were learning the art of game design as we went, we wanted to stick to a genre that had a great history for inspiration. We knew Flyhunter Origins was going to be a 3D platformer/3D chase game but where on the spectrum should we aim? We wanted to make it accessible to kids aged six and up but also fun and challenging for all ages.

We had to first and foremost create a fun gaming experience and pepper it with the qualities that were part of our pedigree. Fun, compelling story, great animation performances, a character that you learn to care about and some really pretty visuals. Our mantra is “This has to be fun to play”.

We leveraged our publisher’s experience and suggestions and held our ground on certain things we were passionate about, but we really took what Ripstone said to heart. They have been great partners on this adventure.

Nothing about the process of making Flyhunter Origins was what you would call traditional. Our publisher is in Liverpool, we are all in California – so setting up meetings or conference calls was always tricky! It was difficult, stressful and exhausting but we are all proud of what we have made. We always keep coming back to the same thought – imagine what we could do if we all were in the same building full time. It would either be a nerdy version of Andy Warhol’s Factory or fight to the death Thunderdome style ;-)

Don’t Starve: Giant Edition Coming to PS Vita

Don’t Starve: Giant Edition Coming to PS Vita

Hey everyone! I’m Corey Rollins from Klei Entertainment, and I’m happy to announce Don’t Starve: Giant Edition is coming to PlayStation Vita and will include both Don’t Starve and the Reign of Giants Expansion. Now, we’re not sure of an exact release date yet, but it’s happening.

Since we first released Don’t Starve: Console Edition on PS4, a lot of people said they’d love to play it on the go with their Vita. Well, we agree!

Don’t Starve: Giant Edition will include the original Don’t Starve along with all of the updates currently released on PC and PS4, including the multi-leveled caves update and the discoverable “Adventure Mode” that puts your survival skills to the test with multiple randomly-generated unique worlds as you try to escape your wild and strange prison.

Along with the original version of Don’t Starve, you’ll also get the Reign of Giants Expansion included! So Vita players will get access to the original nine characters and two new additions. Play as Wigfrid, a stage actress who went a bit too far with method acting on her latest role, an ancient Valkyrie, or Webber, a young boy who lives inside the spider who tried to eat him long ago.

The Reign of Giants expansion adds new seasonal challenges including the torrential rain falls of spring and the blistering heat of summer. You’ll also get new procedurally-generated biomes filled to the brim with new creatures and gatherables that will either help you survive — or kill you. Oh, and Giants.

We’ve also optimized the game to take advantage of Vita’s touch features. Navigation for menus, maps, items, and crafting are all touch friendly, or you can use the classic button navigation.

We’ll have more details in the coming months, but we wanted to confirm it’s happening. We’re also working on the final steps to bring the Reign of Giants Expansion to PS4. So expect an update on that release soon.

【E3 14】PS4《Destiny》封测12 日开跑主机同梱版9 月9 日发售

在今年的PlayStation E3 媒体发表会中,官方发布了PS4 《Destiny》Beta 测试版将于7 月17 日(美国时间)推出,而Alpha 封测版将从本周四(美国时间6 月12 日)起在PS4 平台抢先开放游玩的讯息。游戏中将有部份 PS4 独占的内容。

此外,SCE 总裁安德鲁‧豪斯也现场宣布推出包含白色版PS4 主机的《Destiny》套装,除了白色PS4 主机之外亦同梱白色DUALSHOCK 4 控制器、30 天PS Plus 资格及《Destiny》软体。套装预计 9 月 9 日发售。

   


【E3 2014】PlayStation TV 今年秋季在欧美地区上市

美国索尼电脑娱乐(SCEA)总裁暨执行长Shawn Layden 刚刚在PlayStation E3 媒体发表会上宣布,游戏机上盒PlayStation TV(在台湾称「PlayStation Vita TV」)预定今年秋季在美国与欧洲地区上市,售价99 美元/99 欧元。
 
PlayStation TV 是以掌上型主机「PS Vita」的软硬体系统为基础所构成的超小型机上盒,只要透过HDMI 端子连接电视,透过蓝牙连接DS3 无线控制器,就可以游玩PS Vita、PSP 与PSone 游戏,以及使用PS Vita 各种网路服务。

索尼电脑娱乐宣布将自7月31日起,为居住在美国与加拿大的的PlayStation 4(PS4)用户提供活用云端技术的「的PlayStation」的串流游戏服务:公开测试版「现在的PlayStation」(PS现在) 。继PS4之后,PS3自9月起,PLAYSTATION维塔与预计今年秋天发售的的PlayStation电视在2014年内也将在美国与加拿大提供服务。
 
SCE于今年1月在美国展开限定参加者的PS3版Privita测试版服务,接着展开PS4版服务,收集使用者意见,为展开公开测试服务而陆续进行准备。
 
开放测试服务开始时,众多游戏公司与SCE全球工作室将提供100款以上的PS3游戏。为了让用户能配合个人生活型态游玩游戏,SCE也配合用戶的各種生活型態設定了租借日數與價格。例如想在短時間內輕鬆遊玩遊戲的用戶就能用2.99美金来租借游戏,几乎所有游戏皆可以2.99美金至19.99美金的价格来租借游玩。此外,日后也准备提供固定费率的定期服务。
 
官方另外强调,现在的PS今後不只侷限於「PlayStation」平台,預計將服務擴大至各項支援網路的平台裝置。該服務的第一波,是為2014年内于美国发售,支援PS现在机能的索尼制液晶电视BRAVIA提供Privita Beta版服务。
 
此外,SCE也预计将在欧洲与日本提供PS现在的服务。

【E3 2014】描绘飞鸟与鱼的爱情动作小品《Entwined》PS4 版即日推出

在今日稍早举行的PlayStation E3 2014 媒体发表会中宣布了一款由SCE World Wide Studios 新团队Pixelopus 所开发的首款新作《Entwined》,PS4 版即日起在PS Store 以9.99 美金的价格贩售,预计约一个月后登上PS3 与PS​​ Vita 平台。

《Entwined》是一款启蒙自中国传统神话的动作Arcade 游戏,两个相爱却不能在一起的灵魂分别以「飞鸟」和「鱼」的姿态呈现。玩家要同时控制左右两边的飞鸟和鱼,在代表9 世轮回的关卡中找寻让两者永远结合的方法。

PS4 版《Entwined》目前已在美国当地PS Store 开放下载,PS3 与PS​​ Vita 预计日后推出。官方表示本作支援Cross-Buy 功能,若玩家购买PS4 版即可直接在PS3 和PS Vita 上下载游玩同款作品。

由Giant Squid 开发制作的PS4 游戏《ABZÛ》,在今年PlayStation E3 媒体发表会首度亮相,并公开了首支前期宣传影片,目前尚未公开预定推出时间。
 
《ABZÛ》将会带领玩家前往深海进行一场冒险旅程,与许多大大小小的生物相遇,作品名称源于美索不达米亚神话中的两的文字,代表「海洋」的「Ab」、以及代表探知的「Zû」,因此《ABZÛ》代有海洋智慧的意义。

由美式卡通风格科幻动作游戏改编的动画电影《拉捷特与克拉克(Ratchet & Clank)》,在今年的E3 PlayStation 媒体发表会中公开了最新的宣传影片。
 
《拉捷特与克拉克》作中的主角是机械师拉捷特(Ratchet)和克拉克(Clank),这对行事风格完全不同、诙谐逗趣的搭档在环游宇宙的旅途中,不断击败毁灭宇宙的邪恶势力,并以独特而有趣的各种武器和装备作为特色。本次的动画电影将从这对搭档的相遇开始说起,并将会加入游戏新作中的新元素。

   


Ratchet & Clank Remake in Development for PlayStation 4, Movie Trailer

Ratchet & Clank Announced for PS4

Hey everyone,

It’s been a dream of ours for years at Insomniac to see Ratchet & Clank on the big screen. We think the entire Ratchet & Clank universe is a perfect fit for moviegoers, from our unique cast of intergalactic characters and outrageous weapons to the majestic planets and cheeky humor.

So it’s with great pride I get to announce that Insomniac will continue our involvement with the Ratchet & Clank movie while developing a game that re-imagines the original Ratchet & Clank for PS4. As was mentioned during Sony’s press conference , the game will share the film’s vision of Ratchet’s origin story, and features updated gameplay along with completely new visuals that rival the best PS4 games on the market.

Both the movie and game will be available in the first half of 2015. Our California and North Carolina studios will work on the game together – marking our deepest cross-country collaboration since the Durham studio was founded in 2009. Many of the original developers responsible for the very first Ratchet & Clank game will get an opportunity to create the stunning Solana Galaxy our fans have been clamo rining for. Longtime Design Director Brian Allgeier, North Carolina Studio Director Chad Dezern and Game Director Shaun McCabe will lead the project.

I’ve been personally involved with the Ratchet & Clank movie since pre-production began. Hopefully, you had a chance to see the film trailer shown during the press conference . We are happy with how production is progressing as everything feels authentic to the spirit of Ratchet & Clank. In fact, our key characters are voiced in the movie by the same fine folks who bring them to life in our games – talented actors such as James Arnold Taylor (Ratchet), David Kaye (Clank) and Jim Ward (Qwark) reprise their famous roles while we have a surprise or two still planned. Former Insomniac scribe-turned-Hollywood screenwriter TJ Fixman wrote the Ratchet & Clank movie’s original script. Renowned award-winning Insomniac artists David Guertin and Greg Baldwin created the character concepts for some of the new creatures appearing in the film — operating under their spectacular Creaturebox label .

And former Insomniac animation director Oliver Wade is helping oversee animation production at Rainmaker Entertainment.

We can’t wait to show you more from both the game and the movie. Expect to catch your first glimpse of the PS4 Ratchet & Clank game this fall – follow us on our social channels below to learn more. Resogun: New Modes, Ship Editor, and More Coming This Month

Great news everyone - the humans are back!

Resogun: Heroes will introduce two brand new modes: ‘Survival’‘ and ‘Demolition’. In essence, Survival is an endless mode that retains a lot of the core mechanics from the original Arcade mode. We switched up a few things, like scoring, and gave the humans parachutes as you can see in the image below.

The Day/Night cycle is another prominent feature of the new Survival mode. As you play, the varying time of day provides a great aesthetic and visual indicator, letting you know how far you have come.

Survival mode is for players who know they can always do a bit better. There are a lot of cool new things to learn while you take the ride, but as we intend to stay true to the arcade feeling, we will let you discover the twists yourself.

Demolition is my personal favorite, and a quantum leap from the original gameplay mechanics. “Arkanoid meets Resogun” is one way to sum it up.

Basically you get a “Wrecking Ball” that you manipulate to demolish all that gets in your way. That, plus a lot of special pickups that totally change the way the game kills you: multiball, extra balls, ball launching, ball level ups, (i.e. lots of balls) etc.

Demolition has you watching out for not only the enemies coming at you, but also the chaotic bombardment of the unpredictable main weapon in the mode. Oh yeah, you can only move and your only weapon is a limited proximity explosion. No boost, overdrive, or bombs. TL;DR you will die a lot, it will be insanely fun and I cannot wait to see people throwing their controllers around.

In the patch we will have a lot of small fixes to improve the original game, new leaderboard and friend functions, and a lot more we will explain in greater detail later. On top of all this, all Resogun owners will get the Ship Editor and the Local Coop mode for free!

Sounds too good to be true, but we felt like these needed to be a part of the core Resogun experience, so therefore patching them in for free seemed like the proper way to go.

The patch will go live for everyone on June 23rd. The Heroes expansion will go live on June 24th, and the full price will be $4.99.

We are also providing an option for you to buy a season pass that includes the Heroes expansion pack, and will let you be the first to download more game add-ons that we’re developing, as soon as they’re released, at no extra cost.

Future expansions will add yet more game modes, along with a range of other content, additional Trophies, and the original soundtrack. The season pass is attractively priced at a lowly $7.99, which is simply a steal to ensure you have the full, definitive Resogun experience.

Lastly, if you don’t have Resogun, it will be $9.99 from June 24th to the July 7th, so why not just buy it all?

So that about covers it. The humans are back with a vengeance, and they’re greener than ever!

Entwined Announced, Out Now on PS4

Hi there, my name is Dominic Robilliard and for the last year or so I’ve been serving as the Creative Director for a new group within Sony World Wide Studios: Pixelopus.

This brand new team is made up of talented graduates from two pioneering digital media and artistic institutions here in the United States: Carnegie Mellon’s Entertainment Technology Center and the San Jose State University Animation and Illustration program. As well as a cutting edge creative skill set we also benefit from a diverse cultural back drop too: Pixelopus is truly an international group with five countries represented amongst the ten of us!

This week at E3 we are both revealing and launching our debut game: Entwined for the PS4, the PS3 and PS Vita systems. It’s a beautiful, addictive and abstract action/arcade game about two souls who are in love but that can’t be together. These souls are represented by a bird and a fish, which you must learn to control simultaneously. Over the course of nine lifetimes you will help these two characters come together with the eventual goal of uniting them for eternity. This story was inspired by an ancient Chinese myth, and the theme of reincarnation lives in our level structure.

Within each of these varied lifetimes you will earn the opportunity to bring the two souls together, and at that moment they will turn into a soaring dragon. This empowering transformation was designed as a moment of liberation and pure gameplay reward to celebrate this important moment in each lifetime. The freedom and joy of flight soon leads to the ability for players to ‘skywrite’ using glorious trails of light and living paint across the sky. We hope that players will enjoy this ability to create their own aerial sculptures, and on the PS4 system they can share what they make with their friends through the Share button.

We began this project on a quest to find new gameplay ideas, create meaningful art and a desire to make something that felt genuinely new and entertaining for players. With an original gameplay mechanic at its heart, Entwined creates a unique sense of flow which only games can generate through the balance of skill, a vibrant art style and a mesmerizing original soundtrack.

I want to close out this blog post by thanking our amazing team; Lucie, Becky, Ash, Haewon, Jing, Eric, Jitesh, Arjun, our wonderful composer Sam Marshall and finally our extraordinary Art Director, Jeff Sangalli. As a group you possess a rich and enlightening mix of experience, talent, and passion for making games, which has created something truly special in Entwined. We really hope PlayStation gamers have as much fun playing this exclusive game as we did making it.

Entwined is available now on the PS4 system via PlayStation Store for $9.99, and will be releasing in about a month on the PS3 and PS Vita systems. It is a Cross-Buy title, so you’ll already own it on those two platforms when you pick it up for the PS4 system. The soundtrack is also available to purchase today on the PS3 system and iTunes Store.

Grim Fandango Remaster Coming to PlayStation 4 & PS Vita
经典游戏《冥界狂想曲》重制登陆PSV与PS4


  在E3 2014索尼的展前发布会上《冥界狂想曲》(GRIM FANDANGO)宣布将会重制登陆PSV与PS4平台,本作是一款于1998年在PC平台发售的冒险游戏,在美国曾获得无数大奖。而这次重制迪斯尼也进行了协助。

THE PLAYROOM E3 2014展索尼演示宣传片公开
