Transistor arrives May 20 on PS4 and PC

Transistor is coming soon!

Mark your calendar for May 20, 2014. In just a few weeks, our next game will be available for the PlayStation 4 and PC!

We’ve been putting the finishing touches on it and think it’s just about ready.

This week at PAX East in Boston, several of us from Supergiant will be taking a short break from development to show you some of our latest progress. We’ll have a near-final build of the game running on the PlayStation 4, which you’ll be able to get your hands on at our booth 892. It was one year ago at PAX East that we showed Transistor for the first time!

We’ll have more details about Transistor in the days leading up to our launch next month. Until then, here are some quick facts we wanted to share, and stay tuned for more:

Q. When is Transistor due out?

A. Transistor’s release date is May 20, 2014.

Q. What platforms is Transistor coming to?

A. PlayStation 4 and PC.

Q. Where will I be able to get the game?

A. On PSN for the PlayStation 4 version, and on Steam or our web site for the PC version.

Q. How much is the game?

A. Transistor will be sold for $19.99 in North America, and ￡14.99 in Europe.

Q. Will Transistor be available in my country?

A. We plan for a worldwide launch. Transistor includes English voiceover and text in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese.

Q. Can I preorder the game?

A. Not at this time though we’re looking into it!

Q. Hey are these new screenshots?

A. Yes! We wanted to show a few more environments without giving away too much. These shots are taken straight from gameplay.

　　SCEJA正在发售中的PSV第一人称射击游戏《杀戮地带：佣兵|Killzone: Mercenary》于4月17日推出了单人联机模式的DLC，价格为270日元。玩家在该模式中可以与7名电脑操作的士兵为对手进行模拟联机对战，这样玩家就可以独自磨练技战术水平。

Octodad: Dadliest Catch Flails to PS4 Tuesday

Hello octopus fans, I’ve got great news! Octodad: Dadliest Catch is launching on Playstation 4 next week!

For those of you unfamiliar with Octodad, he’s a normal everyday father with an adoring family, but he just so happens to be an octopus! Life for him is a neverending struggle to control his wobbly limbs and to conceal his cephalopod secret from his loved ones. In Dadliest Catch, Octodad and his family take a disastrous trip to the aquarium, putting him at odds with marine biologists, a manic sushi chef, and his wife’s ever rising suspicions…

We started Octodad as a ragtag group of students, and it’s been a long and crazy ride getting our silly game on the PS4. This is our first foray into consoles, and we’re proud to be here. We released Octodad on PC back in January, and since then we’ve taken the time to improve it based on feedback from our players. The latter third of the game in particular has gone through some radical changes, with added challenges like deck swabbing, jig dancing, and new disguises to wear!

The PS4 version also has support for new controller configurations like PlayStation Move, double PlayStation Moves, and our personal favorite, PlayStation Move plus Nav controller! Let’s not forget local co-op mode, where you and your friends each take control of one of Octodad’s limbs and collectively cause chaos!

《秋叶原之旅2|AKIBA’S TRIP2/アキバズトリップ2》推出PS4强化版诸多优化项目

　　曾经登陆PS3和PSV平台的作品《秋叶原之旅2|AKIBA’S TRIP2/アキバズトリップ2》正式宣布推出PS4版本。PS4版《秋叶原之旅2|AKIBA’S TRIP2/アキバズトリップ2》包含之前所有DLC和特典内容，售价5180日元(税前)，2014年7月3日发售。

　　游戏针对PS4做出了优化，除了画面效果强化与读取时间缩短外，场景中的同屏NPC人数也得到增加，原本通关后才可游玩的“チビキャラ模式”可以直接进行，还追加了自由编辑街景的场景编辑器等。

• Those that will purchase the first print of the game will get a “Character Variation Set” download code.

• Overall graphics will be improved and load times reduced. The number of NPCs on the street will also be increased, making the environment closer to the real Akihabara.

• A “Visual Editor” will be included, for instance you can create a “cyberspace” wireframe version of Akihabara or change the atmosphere to Summer Dusk, enjoying unusual versions of Akihabara.

• Almost all DLCs will be included: the Swimwear set for the heroines will be included from the beginning. In addition to that, almost all paid DLCs distributed for the PS3 and PS Vita versions will be part of the package. “Chibi Mode” will be unlocked after clearing the game.

• Interactive streaming will be implemented to enjoy the game together with viewers. When the players is in a pinch and the viewers enter “help,” the main character’s sister equipped in super-powerful gear will come to the rescue. Moreover, funny elements will be available, like “panty jump,” that will make it rain panties on the city.

神秘海域4|Uncharted 4 艺术设计师离开顽皮狗

　　自从公布《神秘海域4（Uncharted 4）》启动以来，索尼和顽皮狗经历的风波就未曾停息。两个月内，顽皮狗失去了三个重要人物，这不仅让我们担忧，《神秘海域4》究竟会变成什么样？日前，《美国末日》的艺术设计师Nate Wells宣布离开顽皮狗，他在自己的推特上公布了这一消息。之后他将加入Giant Sparrow工作室参与《黑白世界（The Unfinished Swan）》的开发。

　　对于他为何离开顽皮狗，Wells没有给出理由。不过值得一提的是，Giant Sparrow是索尼圣莫尼卡工作室培养起来的，因此，Wells的这次跳槽更像是索尼精心设计的一次工作调动。Nate Wells已经是在近期离开顽皮狗的第三位重要人物，此前，《神秘海域4》的制作人Justin Richmond加入了Riot Games，而《神秘海域》系列的创意总监Amy Hennig加入了Visceral Games参与《星球大战》新作的开发。

PlayStation Plus free games for May in the US & Europe announced

North America - Preview May’s Instant Game Collection

Next month PlayStation Plus members will receive several games as part of their membership including Stick it to the Man! on PS4, Puppeteer, PES 2014 and Skullgirls Encore on PlayStation 3, and Limbo and Surge Deluxe on PS Vita. Several of these titles are a visual treat, boasting distinct, vibrant art styles.

Stick it to the Man! is a mix of point and click adventure puzzles plus a bit of platforming, and the animation-inspired art style is really slick. You’ll solve problems as Ray, a regular guy who wakes up one day with a giant pink hand floating out of his head. This pink hand gives him the ability to read people’s minds and grab stickers from their thoughts to use in the world.

On PS3 members will receive three very different titles: the award-winning, uber-charming platformer Puppeteer, the popular soccer simulator Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 and the indie-darling fighter with a crazy roster, Skullgirls Encore. Puppeteer is a visual treat that follows the story of a boy named Kutaro who gets turned into a puppet by the evil Moon Bear King (great name) and loses his head. After the transformation Kutaro must borrow other heads and use his fancy new pair of scissors to navigate the world and return home (preferably with his original head). Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 allows you to play as your favorite soccer team and pit them against teams from around the globe. The improved FOX Engine means that the soccer ball will be much more fluid than previous PES games. The 2D fighter Skullgirls Encore houses a bunch of wacky characters, each with their own unique attack style. The Encore version has new systems, balance updates, stages and music and a few new characters to mess around with.

PS Vita owners will get to download Surge Deluxe, an intense color-matching title and the critically-acclaimed puzzle platformer Limbo. The action in Surge Deluxe heats up quickly as you chain together color-coordinated blocks. The faster you move the more likely you are to be successful — taking too long means the pressure will build up in the pipes surrounding the screen and BOOM! Game over. If you haven’t played Limbo yet you’ll be in for a real treat when it comes to the Instant Game Collection for PS Vita. Limbo’s haunting atmosphere, intriguing puzzles and vague narrative make this a game you’ll remember for a long time.

Europe - Coming to PS Plus in May: Puppeteer, Payday 2, Muramasa, more

Hi everyone! It’s time to unveil all the goodies coming to PlayStation Plus members this May. I hope you’ll agree that we have a great line up that should keep you glued to your consoles.

New for PlayStation 4

First up on PS4 comes Stick it to the Man, a weird and wonderful title from the very talented development team at Zoink! I am so pleased that we are able to bring you this incredible title which won a sturdy 8.6 out of 10 from IGN on release.

I’m sure you won’t be disappointed with this wacky adventure. Take a look at the trailer below for an idea of what to expect.

New for PlayStation 3

First up on PS3 this May an eccentric title from our very own Japan Studio. Puppeteer delivers a magical fairy tale experience with a sinister backdrop all played out in a theatrical world where the environment is constantly changing.

Take on the role of a young boy named Kutaro carried away by the evil Moon Bear King to a black castle where the unlucky lad is transformed into a puppet. But the headless hero is not alone – he discovers a very special pair of scissors to help him on his harrowing adventure to find his head, and his way home.

Next up, it’s time to descend on Washington DC for a crime spree of epic proportions in the second installment of the thrilling heist shooter Payday. Payday 2‘s new crimenet network offers a huge range of dynamic contracts and you are free to choose anything from small-time convenience store hits or kidnappings, to major league cyber-crime or emptying out major bank vaults.

Finally, it’s time to take to the fairways in our very own Everybody’s Golf. This title makes full use of the rear touch pad functionality and the intuitive touchscreen controls allowing you to plot your way around the course and achieve that low score whilst having a lot of fun at the same time!

New for PS Vita

Muramasa Rebirth is your first offering this month on PS Vita. It’s faithful port of Vanillaware’s classic side-scrolling action-RPG, one that absolutely shines on the OLED screen. Immersive, stylish, and full of action, Muramasa Rebirth’s twin campaigns, multiple endings, hidden Demon Swords, massive exploration and other optional goodies should be enough to keep you busy for a good long while.

索尼近日在美国完成注册新游戏——《血液传染》

索尼日前在美国完成了《血液传染》这款新游戏的注册，这具体是一款什么类型的游戏目前尚未得知，游戏即将登陆的平台以及发售日期等都未公布，不过根据游戏的图片来看，这可能是一款恐怖求生游戏。
