Project Rap Rabbit Launches Kickstarter Campaign for PS4 and PC; Seeking $1.1M

　　曾经制作过《啪啦啪啦啪》的七音社和《应援团》的INIS两家公司在上周公布了新的音游企划《说唱兔(Project Rap Rabbit)。今天这一项目在Kickstarter开启了众筹。众筹目标为35天内筹集到1102921美元，如果成功的话，本作就将推出PS4和PC版。Xbox One和NS两个版本则分别要筹得310万美元和495万美元才能够推出。

　　本作的故事将发生在16世纪的架空日本，玩家将扮演普通的乡下男孩(兔子?)Toto-Maru，它能够通过说唱获得特别的力量。Toto-Maru将和随从Otama-Maru一起恢复世界的和平。

　　按照两位制作人松浦雅也(七音社)和矢野庆一(INIS)的说法，这款游戏将拥有独一无二的节奏玩法，本作将是节奏动作游戏的革命之作。和其他音游不同的是，玩家有机会自由控制说唱的内容。歌曲不再是提前预设好的，而是拥有不同的分支选项，玩家可以通过选项来控制歌曲的节奏。与他们此前制作的作品相比，这款游戏的系统将更加的有可挖掘的地方。

　　在战斗的过程中，玩家首先要做的就是听，从对手的歌词中获得关键词，之后选择自己想要尝试的部分，找准机会反击。

　　接下来的阶段是本作最有特色的部分——回应。玩家需要选择自己想要表达的情感，到底是把对手的话当做笑话一笑而过，还是反唇相讥，选择都在你的手上。在做出选择之前，可以预览之后对手的反应和谱面。当然，这些选择没有对错之分，但不同的选择将会给对手造成不同的伤害。在这个阶段，每个角色对于每个选项的反应都是不尽相同的。据称，这个系统的灵感来源是《质量效应》和《辐射4》的对话轮系统……

　　最后就是我们所熟悉的说唱阶段了，根据玩家在第二步中的选择不同，歌词和旋律也都会有所区别。

　　Toto-Maru和他的对手一样，也会受到歌词的伤害，被攻击到血槽为0时，游戏结束。但是Toto-Maru的血量在50%以下时，将会进入特殊状态，此时的某些特定歌词能够给敌人造成额外伤害。

　　根据开发团队的筹款目标，达到110万美元项目成功，此时游戏中包含6个关卡;金额达到180万美元时，开发团队将为项目支持者制作特别关卡和服装;230万美元增添法语、意大利语、德语和西班牙语的本地化;310万美元将开发Xbox One版本;350万美元将再增加1个关卡;390万美元会制作多人对战模式;440万美元则会增加一个难度;495美元时，除了会推出NS版之外，还会为项目支持者制作3件多人模式的特殊服装。

　　目前该项目在上线一天之后，已经获得了1104名玩家的支持，筹得了85615美元。

Project Rap Rabbit Kickstarter Unveiled

NanaOn-Sha and iNiS J are pleased to reveal a brand-new rhythm-action Kickstarter Project from the creators of the legendary music games PaRappa The Rapper and Gitaroo Man.

Masaya Matsuura of Nana-On Sha and Keiichi Yano of iNiS J are widely regarded as the founding fathers of the genre, and two of the finest rhythm-action developers working today. Responsible for creating some of the most influential, best-loved music games, they have delighted gamers worldwide, not just with their best-known iconic titles, but also critically acclaimed masterpieces such as Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan, UmJammer Lammy and Vib-Ribbon.

Now, both Matsuura-san and Yano-san have teamed up to create a new generation of rhythm-action.

Project Rap Rabbit will see the rebirth of narrative-driven rhythm-action. Set in an alternative version of 16th Century Japan, the world is growing more hostile as the populace becomes increasingly concerned by the growing diversification of their lands.

It is amongst this backdrop of growing isolationism and protectionism that a young rabbit farmer, Toto-Maru, steps up to unify his home. Using the power of Rap to draw strength from music, he finds he's able to influence the world's ruling powers through rhythm and rhyme.

Only by facing off against the world's rulers in epic rap battles is he able to counter corruption and bring peace to this divided land.

Combining their vast experience in the genre, Matsuura-san and Yano-san are looking to push the boundaries of the genre in a new direction. While modern rhythm-action frequently asks players to strive for linear perfection, Project Rap Rabbit will allow gamers to alter the flow of their rap battle in real time, changing the lyrics and emotional direction on the fly, as they look to best their opponents in dynamic one-on-one encounters.

Crucially, Matsuura-san and Yano-san will continue to embrace the elements that have made their games so beloved by fans: narrative, freedom of expression and soul. They hope that gamers across the world can help make their latest vision a reality, and thank them for their continued support.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Announced for PS4, Switch and PC

Natsume to Bring Harvest Moon to Nintendo Switch, Steam and PlayStation 4 With All-New Harvest Moon: Light of Hope

In celebration of Harvest Moon's 20th anniversary, Natsume, a worldwide developer and publisher of family-oriented video games, and Rising Star Games, European video game publisher and long-standing partner of Natsume, today announced an all-new title, Harvest Moon: Light of Hope. The new game will encompass twenty years of spirit that has made the franchise what it is today, and will be available on Nintendo Switch, Steam, and PlayStation 4! This is the first time the Harvest Moon brand will be on Steam and the Nintendo Switch. The title will be playable on both Switch and PC in the Natsume booth at E3 2017 in South Hall, Booth 2047 in June.

In Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, players begin the game as they set out looking for a fresh start and new surroundings. During their voyage, their ship is hit by a monsoon and goes down. As they drift into a small harbor town, now in a shambles from the storm, it will be up to the player to help rebuild the town and save the lighthouse... but it won't be easy! Nevertheless, with some hard work growing crops, tending livestock, and gathering materials for repairs, players will be able to make new friends, start a family, revive the lighthouse, and save the town!

Danger Zone launches May 30

Danger Zone, the vehicular destruction game from Three Fields Entertainment, a studio made up of former Burnout developers, will launch for PlayStation 4 and PC on May 30 for $12.99, the company announced.

The Unreal Engine 4-powered game is set in a virtual Crash Testing Facility where players take on the role of a test driver tasked with surviving a variety of crash testing scenarios.

　　不过要说的一点是，《危险地带》其实只是把《火爆狂飙》中的撞车模式拿出来单独做了一个游戏而已，并没有竞速内容，因此只能说是一部分精神续作。不过说起来，《火爆狂飙》的精神核心不就是撞车么，所以这么想的话《危险地带》其实还真是一款把握了前辈精神的游戏。

AeternoBlade II Indiegogo campaign launched

Corecell Technology has launched the Indiegogo campaign for AeternoBlade II. The sequel to the time-manipulation action and puzzle side-scrolling platformer is seeking $30,000 in funding for release across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.

Story

After the events of AeternoBlade, Freyja has been living a peaceful life with her friends at the Ridgerode village. One day, the dimension begins to become unstable, and the existence of this reality seems to disappear. It is the cause of her actions that changed the world lines. To fix this, her journey begins once again.

On the other side of the world, two warriors, Bernard and Felix, head to Eternity Fortress according to the Chronos Kingdom’s ‘Oracle’ to stop the disaster that is foretold to occur by a strange dark hole that appeared in the sky.

Gameplay

Just like AeternoBlade, AeternoBlade II is an action platform game. Players will use time-manipulation abilities to solve puzzles and to survive in battle. It also features world exploration and RPG elements. Enhanced features such as time-stop, time-forwarding and other actions, will make gameplay even more intense and interesting.

Key Features

Three Playable Characters – AeternoBlade II has three playable characters with difference abilities and storylines. You can play as Freya, Bernard, and Felix.

More Types of AeternoBlades – We now have three characters with three weapons that the AeternoBlade can change into. Each one has a unique ability that will offer a new experience.

Aeterno Blade of Past – Freyja’s AeternoBlade is in the form of sword like before. It has decent power, range, and speed, and comes with the ability to reverse time.

Time Reverse: Everything except Freyja will rewind. Some green flashing objects called timeless objects, however, cannot rewind by this ability.

Time Warp: Place the marker at Freyja’s current position. After that, by pressing the button again, Freya will warp back to the marker. This can be used to solve puzzles and avoid attacks in battle.

AeternoBlade of Present – AeternoBlade of Present is in the form of Halberd. It is more powerful than the sword, but has less speed.

Time Stop: All objects will stop moving. Bernard can use a stacking attack on the stopped enemy, make them stand ground, and can change the direction of moving projectiles.

Stone Breaker: The Halberd can be used to destroy obstacles that normally cannot be destroyed. Make the way to a new path.

AeternoBlade of Future – AeternoBlade of future is in the form of whip blade. It has less power than the others, but has the benefit of high speed.

Parallel Self: Felix can use his AeternoBlade to record his actions, then come back to the present and create a parallel version of him to help attack enemies or solve puzzles.
Hook Chain: The whip blade can be used to hook onto high above objects to help Felix move up further up the platforms.

New Actions

Weapons – Three characters have different battle styles depend on their weapon.

Freyja Action (Sword)
Bernard Action (Halberd)
Felix Action (Whip Blade)

Parry System – You can parry the enemy with a weapon. This will give you chance to break their weapon.

Perfect Dodge – By using perfect dodge, you will be able to enter bullet time to storm monsters.

More Puzzle and World Depth – With more abilities to use, we also have more types of puzzles to be solved. The map can be traveled to further depths. This time, the map can be more complicated than before.

Quest System, Shop, and Upgradable Relics – Zevil and Carol now will assist you on the journey with their newly opened shop. They also provide quests and upgradable relics that will let you have more powerful relics than the previous AeternoBlade. Occasionally, Carol may ask for your help in the form of quests.

Multiplayer zombie FPS Dead Alliance announced for PS4, Xbox One, and PC

Maximum Games, Psyop Games, and IllFonic have announced Dead Alliance, a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter where zombies can be used as weapons, due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 29 for $39.99.

Zombies in Dead Alliance are not just the enemy; they are weapons that can be strategically used to distract and destroy unsuspecting human foes in combat. Seize the dead – or find yourself counted among them.

Set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where military bases are humanity’s last city-states, Dead Alliance pits warring teams of players against each other for survival in a world ravaged by the zombie plague. It features a variety of single-player and 4v4 multiplayer modes, including Team Deathmatch, Free for All, King of the Hill, and Capture and Hold, as well as the MOBA-inspired Attrition mode and Solo Survival mode.

Dead Alliance lets players customize and upgrade their loadouts with an arsenal of high-powered, military-grade weapons and advanced zombie-controlling tech called zMods. Examples of zMods include the Enrager – a pheromone bomb that turns a single zombie into a soldier of superior strength and resistance on your side – and the PAM grenade, which puts four zombies to work for you, but does not increase their damage resistance. Use these and many more zMods available in the game to get the undead to join forces with you!

Early copies of Dead Alliance will be the “Rapid Dominance” Day One Edition of the game, which contains bonus loadouts featuring unique weapons and perks for use in multiplayer.

Classic Miniature Racing Returns in the Latest Micro Machines World Series Trailer

Codemasters & Koch Media today released the second gameplay trailer for the eagerly anticipated Micro Machines World Series ahead of its release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam (PC) on 23rd June. You can watch the miniature mayhem unfold in the second Micro Machines World Series gameplay trailer, playing at micromachinesgame.com.

Racing has always been at the heart of Micro Machines, and Micro Machines World Series sees that heart beat back into action. With hundreds of customisations available, you can race in style and make sure you are seen on the start line. Chief Game Designer Gavin Cooper says: “For the first time in a Micro Machines game, every car has its own entirely distinct personality... and arsenal! Each gives players a different way to play and enjoy the game, meaning fans of the series will have plenty to sink their teeth into.”

“Players will quickly gain an affinity with a particular vehicle and find it suits their style of play.” and continued “You can master one vehicle collecting all the 25+ customisations, but then have a whole host of variety choosing and mastering all the other vehicles in the game”.

Each vehicle has a slightly different feel, and even sound, in Micro Machines World Series. Choose from 12 very individual vehicles, from the twitchy but agile rear wheel drive hotrod of El Incendio to the scarily good all-rounder of Hank N. Stein’s monster truck.

Micro Machines World Series also boasts a great mix of classic and new tracks and arenas. Art Director Stuart Campbell says: “new locations like the workshop complement Micro Machines classics like the games room and classroom. Dodging pool balls while trying to shoot a G.I. JOE MOBAT has never looked so good or felt so fun!”

Players will also pick up items on the track in the form of Hasbro branded NERF blasters and NERF power-ups. All these can be deployed in and around Hasbro branded locations including a Ouija board or driving across a Hungry Hungry Hippos battle.

The huge and unmistakable voice talent of Brian Blessed OBE is once again excitedly alerting you to all the madness and chaotic mayhem - commentating on the action as players race and battle for the win.

Super Cloudbuilt ‘Graphic Styles’ trailer

Double Eleven and Coilworks have released a new trailer for Super Cloudbuilt previewing the game’s changeable visual styles.

The graphics setting allows players to change how the game looks. In addition to the “Normal” setting, there is “Vibrant,” “Color Pencil,” “Painted,” “Key Color,” and “Sketch” visual options.

Super Cloudbuilt is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this summer.

Raiden V: Director’s Cut announced for PS4, PC

　　MOSS 今（26）日宣布，将于 2017 年推出加入 PS4 阵营的首款作品 PS4 射击游戏《雷电 V 导演版（雷电V Director’s Cut）》，加入单机双人游玩、新任务关卡、全语音等追加新要素。

　　《雷电 V》是 1990 年问世、以简单操作与高挑战性广受玩家喜爱的《雷电》系列诞生 25 周年纪念作品，以「不拘泥于既有概念」为概念，活用新世代主机的图形处理与网络联机能力，提供以 Full HD 描绘的细致图像，玩家可彼此支持的「加油系统」与实时统计成绩的战绩表等特色。

　　游戏以 21 世纪末的近未来为背景，故事叙述 2080 年地球遭到来自外层空间的神秘水晶侵袭，导致既有的武器遭受污染控制，对人类社会发起了巨大的攻击。为了挽回颓势，人类于是投入名为「战斗雷电计划」的新战机开发计划，各国陆续开发出足以对抗水晶污染兵器的雷电战机，并以此为基础组成游击部队「对水晶净化部队（V.C.D）」。 2097 年，刚启航不久的 VCD 母舰贝尔维札接获命令，前往北美歼灭遭受污染的国际保护防卫军新型巨大飞行战舰，游戏的故事就此展开。
