We Happy Few coming first to console on Xbox One Read
We Happy Few coming to Xbox One!
Hello all,
We are delighted to announce that We Happy Few will make its console debut to the Xbox One next year and in the Game Preview program this holiday!
In case you missed the latest trailer we revealed at Gamescom, here it is.
We also prepared a little FAQ for any questions you may have:
• When will WHF be available on Xbox One?
This holiday season in the Xbox Game Preview program, the released game will come out next year.
• How much will it cost?
Same as PC
• What about PS4?
At the moment we are focusing on the PC and Xbox version. We are a small team and we want to take our time working on the quality of the game first and foremost.
• Can I change my Kickstarter pledge to an Xbox version?
Unfortunately no, the Kickstarter was exclusively for PC. We would have loved to change your pledge, but we'd have to raise the price of the tier. If you haven’t backed us yet and wish to get the Xbox version, we suggest you wait until it becomes available on the Xbox Game Preview program this holiday season.
Thank you all for the kind words and support - Compulsion
Gal Gun: Double Peace is Getting a Worldwide Release
With the release of Gal Gun: Double Peace in Japan the other day, and the absolutely tremendous amount of support we have received in the past 48 hours, we have come to the decision that now is the time for people around the world to experience Gal Gun! The team was completely blown away by the outpouring of love and support for this franchise from the fans outside of Japan, and it turned out to be the final push to make a worldwide release for Gal Gun come to be.
Now, the process of bringing Gal Gun: Double Peace to the rest of world begins in earnest. To be honest, we are really, really psyched about making this happen, and we want to get this game in your hands as soon as possible!
Right now we are at the beginning stages of the project, which means we are now searching for a publisher to work with to bring this game to you. As of right now, we are aiming to release the game on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita just like we did here in Japan. Since it is the newest game in the series, we want to bring Gal Gun: Double Peace to you first. If the game is as successful as we hope it will be, that could open the door to other possibilities for the franchise.
We’re gonna be moving full-steam ahead on this project, so as soon as we have any additional information, we will announce it on our official Twitter, Facebook, and of course, this website.
Overlord: Fellowship of Evil 'Slay Together, Stay Together' Video & Screens
Overlord: Fellowship of Evil Information Film Discusses the Benefits of Eviling With Friends
The dastardly development minions at Codemasters today unleashed the latest video for Overlord: Fellowship of Evil, their digital only, angelically-priced, devilishly fun Action RPG which is coming to PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC soon. Fans of evil doings can watch the trailer in action now at overlordthegame.com
Whilst eviling alone is fun, the second in their series of training videos from The Minionstry of Information also teaches Netherghūls-in-training the value of working together. Bringing a friend (or at least someone you can tolerate for a while) along to help with the carnage can really help lift the levels of nefarious nastiness.
But in Overlord: Fellowship of Evil, your friends can also be your biggest enemies. Co-operation becomes “co-opetition” as Netherghūls compete to be more evil throughout the game and traps offer opportunities for mischief.
“Whilst you are welcome to indulge in some solo mayhem and destruction, sometimes you need a friend to back you up” said Gnarl, evil Minion Master “and when I say friend, I mean enemy who hasn’t killed you yet.”
“Fellowship of Evil has been designed to be equally fun playing solo or with your friends in co-op.” said Carl Johnson, Chief Design Minion, Codemasters “Whether you’re at your happiest causing chaos alone with a horde of minions at your heels or together with some equally evil companions, there’s always plenty of deviousness to be done. Remember, evil never plays by the rules!”
Overlord: Fellowship of Evil is a dark and twisted Action RPG filled with the series’ signature black humour. Penned by award-winning original Overlord scriptwriter Rhianna Pratchett, Overlord: Fellowship of Evil delivers an epic new quest featuring four Netherghūls – undead servants of the dark arts, resurrected in the absence of a true Overlord, to bring evil back to a world overrun by the forces of good.
Assisting gamers once again are the mighty, maniacal and occasionally moronic minions, ready to unleash their charmingly chaotic brand of destruction and led by Gnarl, their wise old master, voiced, as before, by actor Marc Silk.
Players will embark on a brand new Overlord adventure filled with fun combat and twisted fantasy tales in single-player or with up to three friends in local and online single-screen co-op. Overlord: Fellowship of Evil invites players to dive into an Action RPG where it’s good to be bad, but it’s GREAT to be evil.
Overlord: Fellowship of Evil invades digital stores on consoles and Steam for Windows PC in 2015. Follow the Codemasters Minions’ progress towards world domination on the Codemasters Blog and on social media on Twitter and Facebook.
