[Discussion] Do you think English is....?

Actually, i'll take the course of English recently. The most difficultly problem for me is the rythem of my broken english.Because my background and circle of my friend all are consist chinese, even i learn from my teacher language whose come from Europe also no chance to let me practise, so i wish to practise with whose want to improve their English, and we can make friends at here..... & we try use English to communicate, ok?!

I usually learnt those grammars from website and movies= =
Whenever I do my grammer exercise, I just write them according to my memory and what I've learnt from movies=.=
Actually I don't care those like "put verbs after nouns" or whatever my teacher said. just like speaking mandarin, more you listen and more you adapt to it.
But after all, grammars still make an important role in sentence structure...That's why I find that english is interesting~

Many Malaysians don't take English pronunciation seriously. I would estimate that they pronounce seven or eight out of ten words incorrectly.

And I find it difficult to understand why it's so hard for Malaysians to master English grammar. There must be something seriously wrong in our teaching and learning methods.

Partly maybe because that we Malaysians didnt learn phonic~ and that is why most of Malaysians cant pronouce English correctly~

hmmmm..like others, i do find grammar is hard to master toooooo ~ grrrrrrr....
and not only grammar...others like idioms, prepositions and etc..

with no deny, schooling in malaysia is really not as good as in Singapore (Our neighbour country)..
a learning environment does an important part to improve English.........................
Most of the students in singapore communicate to each other by using English and they are learning English everyday since they were young.  (Or can i say they were all forced to learn English?)

But what language we use when we communicate to our classmates during our primary or secondary school life? Malay Chinese or English?

I bet chinese is the most common language for malaysian to communicate with.... ...
even if we need to speak to non-chinese, English is still not the first or second choice but the last choice or maybe not even a choice for communication~

Afterall, if one is decide to learn English, what he/she needs is to have determination~ so called "heart" lar... ..... ...

u have to use this language whenever u meet a foreigner
most of them(foreigner)won't be able to speak other language well but english...
if we expected they understand our BODY LANGUAGE,then we r wrong...
learn more as our can~
it will be useful in our near future~
