SimBin Studios is back in business



New Start, New Location for SimBin Studios

SimBin Studios, renowned for their racing games but filed for bankruptcy in Sweden back in 2014, is back in business with a brand new UK office in the North-West of England. The Studio is to be headed up by industry veteran, Allan Speed and in collaboration with Sector3 Studios. The focus will be on developing cross platform titles for the current and next gen platforms, primarily in the racing genre.

‘We are extremely excited to announce the collaboration with newly formed SimBin Studios UK being headed up by Allan, his industry knowledge and talent network will provide the perfect spring board for our future strategy and let’s not forget the revival of the Simbin name which has a long, rich and successful heritage in delivering some of the best racing titles to date’ said Chris Speed, CEO of Sector3 Studios.

Sector3 Studios and Simbin Studios UK have also partnered up with racing driver Mathias Lauda to provide his expertise, insight and support for their up and coming racing projects.

Mathias Lauda is an Austrian race driver and is the son of three-time Formula One world champion Niki Lauda.

Sector3 Studios AB is a Swedish game developer currently working on RaceRoom Racing Experience, a F2P title available on Steam and committed to the creation of realistic championship experiences for motorsport series worldwide, including; DTM, ADAC GT Masters, and the WTCC.

Earth’s Dawn Lands November 1 on PS4

Hello, my name is Kuroki, Director at oneoreight Studios. We’re a game development studio established in April of 2012 and based in Tokyo, Japan. Our motto: “To make interesting games that we believe in.” That may seem like a very broad mission statement, but it’s important for us that we make games that we enjoy playing. And playing a hero soldier fighting for the survival of Earth is something we think is extremely appealing with our first game on PS4, Earth’s Dawn.

The first thing players will notice in our game is the unique, 2D art style. The game takes place in the future when alien invaders known as the E.B.E. have destroyed much of Earth. So we needed the setting to be dark and threatening. This is reflected not only in the game’s atmosphere, but also the look of soldiers, the deadly looking weapons, and of course, the enemies.





The gameplay in Earth’s Dawn is fast paced — a mix of shooting and melee attacks so players must learn how make use of gun, sword, and advanced attacks to string together combos. When you add dashing in between your attacks, then you’ll notice the game’s addictive nature. In some battles, players will have their combat skills graded. The more varied and exciting their combat approach, the higher the grade and reward. It’s fun starting with a few slash attacks, knocking the enemy up in the air, jumping into the air with more melee attacks, juggling them in the air with gunshots, and then maybe throw them in-midair to finish a combo. Our dev team is often competing to see who can get the highest number of hits in a combo as we are very competitive!

I’m also very proud of the amount of customization we give the player for both weapons and abilities. As you defeat enemies, you’ll get materials to create new weapons and equipment. When crafting your gear, you can substitute in higher value versions of the components to raise the base stats on an item. If you really enjoy using a particular weapon, you can also sacrifice more resources in order to level it up, making it even more powerful!





We focus on the small details, so we hope you appreciate that the gear you create is reflected on the character in game, such as the flames blazing out of axes as well as the various masks we created.

The skill system is something we worked to fit the theme of the game and to have a lot of depth. The hero is part of an elite fighting force that is using alien E.B.E. technology implanted into their bodies to give them superhuman abilities. As you level up in the game, you learn different skills that will improve your abilities in offense, defense, speed, endurance, and more. As you unlock these, you will also be able to “link” skills together to create new ones! There are more than 100 different skills to customize, so choose wisely how to make your hero!

We hope you enjoy Earth’s Dawn, our very first game coming out November 1 — we’re also very excited to see PS4 box versions in retail stores on the same day!

Takara Tomy 公布写实风《机兽新世纪》新项目预告网站 新作游戏即将登场?

  Takara Tomy 今(8)日的《机兽新世纪(ZOIDS)》新项目预告网站放上了两张艺术图。目前关于这部作品的详细情报暂时未知。

  目前预告网站上除了透露《机兽新世纪》新项目起始的信息之外,还公布一张写实风格的重装长牙狮(シールドライガー)与男性士兵(网站原始码标示其为主角)的插画,而负责制作插画的 ANIMAREAL 是一个专门从事动漫画作品写实化的团队。 另外还有由未知瑠作曲的背景音乐。

Cuphead Delayed to Mid-2017
以 1930 年代卡通风格游戏《Cuphead》Xbox One、PC 版延至 2017 年发行


  由 Studio MDHR 开发、于 2015 美国 E3 电玩展公布的《Cuphead》将延期至 2017 年中发行,届时除了有 Xbox One 版外,还将透过 Windows、Steam 推出 PC 版本。

  《Cuphead》是一款单人或双人合作跳跃射击游戏,以 1930 年代卡通为风格的游戏,采用手绘上色的图形,所有音乐皆为原始爵士乐录音。 玩家将扮演主角 Cuphead 和 Mugman 两人,漫游在各种奇怪的世界当中,一路搜集最新武器、学习强大技能、发掘暗藏的秘密。

  今日,开发团队表示:「我们预计在 1936 年后的 80 年可以推出,但现在将是 81 年。 先前为了让游戏能如期发行,我们讨论过是否要删减规模,但最后还是决定保留其完整性,并决定将延期至 2017 年中发售。 」

  同时,官方也宣布,《Cuphead》除了有 Xbox One 版本外,届时也将在 Windows 10 和 Steam 推出 PC 版本。

The game will come to Xbox One at a date to be announced, with exclusive new content, in particular a new boss encounter, that we are teasing about in this one screenshot.

AKB48 制作人秋元康将与 SONY 音乐和 Aniplex 合作 展开二次元偶像计划

  担任 AKB48 集团以及乃木坂 46 的知名制作人 秋元康,近日公开了与 SONY 音乐、以及 Aniplex 合作的偶像团体企划。



  秋元康过去催生了 AKB48 集团、以及乃木坂 46 众多偶像团体,为日本知名制作人。 近日他与日本 SONY 音乐(Sony Music Records)、以及以动画制作、发行和企划为主的 Aniplex 合作,以「超越次元的偶像」为主旨,展开了新的偶像团体企划。

  结合「2 次元」以及「3 次元」的该企划,将会以 8 位虚拟偶像、搭配 8 位配音员组成偶像团体,以「数字偶像团体」为主轴展开各式企划,目前团体名尚未确定。 而 8 位虚拟偶像,集合了像是《不起眼女主角培育法》插画家 深崎暮人、《你的名字》角色设计 田中将贺、《变态王子与不笑猫》插画家 カントク等... 在业界颇负盛名的 8 位角色设计及插画家个别创作偶像,而 8 位偶像的剪影以及角色设定皆已在征选官网上公开。

  偶像征选官网已于今(17)日正式公开,一次审查将自今日起至 11 月 11 日为止,采网络书面审查。 一次审查通过后,将自 12 月起分别展开 2 次审查、3 次审查、 4 次审查、以及最终审查(12 月 24 日),经过最终审查后将正式决定成员。

台湾团队「福克科技」研发 2D 格斗游戏《混沌代码:新生浩劫》PS4 版中文官网公开

  台湾团队「福克科技」今(18)日宣布,自主研发的 2D 格斗游戏《混沌代码》的强化版《混沌代码:新生浩劫》将于 PlayStation 4 以下载专用游戏的形式推出。

  日本全国格斗游戏大会「斗神祭 2016」在周日(10 月 16 日)圆满落幕,来自台湾的国产格斗游戏《混沌代码:新生浩劫》也作为大赛项目登上了舞台,更在会场发表了家用版本将于 2016 年 11 月发售的消息,受到不少格斗游戏粉丝的关注。

  福克科技同时也在今日公开了中文版与日文版《混沌代码:新生浩劫》PS4 版本的官方网站与介绍影片,本作的特色与游戏模式,包含此次追加的新要素都可以在此确认。

   


  《混沌代码:新生浩劫》预定于 2016 年 11 月于 PlayStation 4 的下载平台发售。

  开发了《SOMA》的 Fricitional Games 准备将旗下经典恐怖游戏《失忆症》搬上PS4 平台,游戏之前只在PC平台登录,如今PS4的玩家也可以体验这个经典的恐怖游戏系列了。《失忆症》合集包括:《失忆症:黑暗后裔》(Amnesia: The Dark Descent),《失忆症:贾斯汀》(《黑暗后裔》Amnesia: Justine 资料片),《失忆症:猪猡的机器》(Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs)。
