Btw, I think that is important to be brave try to communicate with your friend. teacher by using english
Don't be shy. When you find something wrong in your grammer then try to improve or solve.

that why I ask you to read more in news. That will help you to correct your grammer.
Sometime teacher will make mistake also because when we talking/chatting, we wont care the grammer so much. And sometime we will include some local style in our conversation

English is really important for form 6 students because of the MUET exam stuffs..

I really have no idea somehow people keep saying reading that english newspaper or listening english language radio do help people to improve english...in fact i don't really think that so as they're kinda difficult for those beginners,which means for those beginners,they actually wouldn't be able to understand it
Instead of doing these,my recommendation is you can find a tuition teacher and learn about grammar as a base,after that followed by learning vocabulary...just by doing this i think you may be able to improve your english eventually

read more: through reading, u will learn vocabulary, and grammar structure will get better too
speak more: don't be afraid when speaking english, say it slow so u will have more time to think, this make the whole conversation more fluent.
