Square Enix establishes Studio Istolia for new RPG 'Project Prelude Rune'
SQUARE ENIX 宣布展开新 RPG 开发计划 由《传奇》系列前制作人马场英雄领军

　　SQUARE ENIX 控股公司今（21）日宣布，将展开新角色扮演游戏开发项目「Project Prelude Rune（神秘前兆计划）」以及成立专责新开发工作室「股份公司伊斯特里亚工作室（株式会社スタジオイストリア）」，由 BANDAI NAMCO《传奇》系列前制作人马场英雄担任公司代表。

　　官方表示，「Project Prelude Rune」是个全新 IP 的角色扮演游戏，名称中的「Prelude Rune」隐含有「神秘前兆」的意思，其中加入了「崭新幻想故事的启航」以及「在广大世界冒险的预感而悸动的心」两个意义。 目前官方仅公布概念插画，具体内容详情尚待后续发表。

　　伊斯特里亚工作室的名称「ISTOLIA」源自希腊语的「故事」，是该工作室的核心价值。 公司将由先前任职 BANDAI NAMCO、长久以来负责《传奇（Tales of）》系列开发的资深游戏创作者马场英雄担任代表董事（代表取缔役）。 官方网站目前已经正式开张，为了 Project Prelude Rune 的开发展开人才招募，广泛征求包含企划、设计与程序设计在内 3 大类别共 16 项目的人才。

Square Enix Group Announces a New RPG Project "Project Prelude Rune" Developed by a Newly Established Studio, Studio Istolia

Square Enix Group, an integrated entertainment company, announced today “Project Prelude Rune”, a new role playing game project, developed by Studio Istolia, a newly established studio in Tokyo.

Studio Istolia further builds on Square Enix Group’s vision to create new intellectual properties alongside existing Square Enix studios. Hideo Baba who has over 18 years of experience in game development will serve as the studio head.

Hideo Baba is working as the producer of “Project Prelude Rune” as well. The project aims to build a new RPG with a new fantasy: unfolding across a vast land teeming with life. Nurtured by the earth, the many peoples of this land dare to dream, fighting for what is just—and this is their tale .

Further details on “Project Prelude Rune” will be revealed at a later time.



The name Istolia originates from the Greek word, ”story” and is central to the studio’s primary value. The aim of the studio is to provide unforgettable stories that will inspire players in their own lives, and bring new game experiences to everyone around the world.

　　SQUARE ENIX 今（10）日，由《传奇》系列前制作人马场英雄新角色扮演游戏开发项目「Project Prelude Rune（神秘前兆计划）」，在加入了 Square Enix 并领衔新的工作室 Studio Istolia 开发新的 RPG 作品。在 PlayStation lineup Tour 上公布了该新作《神秘前兆计划》的预告片。

预告片中所说的

“希望你能以一颗正直的心活下去，我心爱的孩子们啊。

新的旅程就此展开——”

　　预告片中仅公布了以上信息。本作由虚幻引擎打造，将登陆 PS4 平台。看画面风格依然是动画渲染的幻想风作品，而具体信息需待日后公布。
