Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call Release Date Set

26 Years of Final Fantasy Music Arriving to the Nintendo 3DS System on September 16 in North America and September 19 in Europe

Designed for every music and Final Fantasy fan, Square Enix today announced a Collector’s Edition and a pre-order incentive for its upcoming rhythm action game, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call.

Limited to 5,000 copies, the first-ever Collector’s Edition for the Theatrhythm franchise will feature a branded Nintendo 3DS system Collector’s Pouch, a robust 20-track ‘the Best of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call’ Music CD, ‘Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call - Remix Selections’ Music CD (five-tracks)”, and five premium CollectaCards from the game. The Collector’s Edition will be available for $69.99/￡44.99/EUR54.99. exclusively through the Square Enix Online Store.

Fans that pre-order the standard edition of the game will receive a complimentary upgrade to a Limited Edition version of the title, which includes the ‘Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call - Remix Selections’ Music CD (five-tracks).” Pre-orders for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call are now available through Amazon.

Featuring adorable miniaturized art style, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call includes 221 songs and over 60 playable characters from the Final Fantasy franchise – including Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and Final Fantasy Tactics, as well as recently released titles like Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Players can relive nostalgic moments as they tap their way through key Final Fantasy events, field themes and battle arrangements. In addition, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call will feature two brand-new modes, the competitive Versus Mode and Quest Medleys, which can be shared via Nintendo 3DS StreetPass™.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call will be available in North America on September 16 and in Europe on September 19 exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS system.

　　Square Enix目前公布了3DS游戏《最终幻想：节奏剧场谢幕》的E3 2014预告片。

　　《最终幻想：节奏剧场谢幕》是2012年2月在3DS上发售的《最终幻想：节奏剧场》的续篇。这是一款将最终幻想世界不可或缺要素之一——音乐作为主旨，结合了美丽世界、宏大剧情、令人感触至深的影像，网罗了FF系列高人气曲的作品。

　　本作中收录221首歌曲、60位以上可用角色以及新模式和新玩法。本作美版将于9月16日发售，欧版9月19日发售。

Embarkon a Musical Journey in the Latest Theatrhythm Final Fantasty: Curtain Call Trailer

In anticipation of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) next week, Square Enix today released a new trailer for Theatrhythm Final Fantasty: Curtain Call. The trailer includes five acts that highlight some of the game’s unique features, as well as cameo appearances from over 60 adorable miniaturized fan-favorite characters and monsters in the game.

Combining hallmark Final Fantasty music with role playing game (RPG) elements, the new Theatrhythm Final Fantasty: Curtain Call is bursting with new content, including the new Versus Mode where players can now compete head-to-head with local friends and other players via the Nintendo Network. The game features 221 songs and more than 60 playable characters from the FINAL FANTASY franchise – including Final Fantasty VII: Advent Children and Final Fantasty Tactics, as well as recently released titles like Lightning Returns: Final Fantasty XIII and Final Fantasty XIV: A Realm Reborn. 【E3 2014】PS4 與 Xbox One 平台將推出《Final Fantasy 零式 HD》

　　SQUARE ENIX 在 E3 展覽期間公開了旗下手機遊戲《Final Fantasy Agito》的歐美版宣傳影片，在影片的最後發表重大宣布，指出確定將會在PS4 / Xbox One 雙平台上發售 PSP 遊戲《Final Fantasy 零式》的高畫質重製版《Final Fantasy 零式 HD》。

　　PlayStation 官方推特也證實了此項消息，並張貼了遊戲中主要角色「王牌（Ace）」的圖片。

　　《Final Fantasy 零式》是2011年在PSP 平台上發售的《FF》系列外傳作品，隨後也推出了衍生作《Final Fantasy Agito》，如今官方正式宣布 HD 版將登陸 PS4 / Xbox One 雙平台，但目前未公布發售日與價格。

Square Enix Announces Final Fantasy Type-0 and Final Fantasy Agito for North America and Europe

Final Fantasy fans are in for a treat with the announcement of two highly anticipated Square Enix titles: Final Fantasy Type-0 and Final Fantasy Agito.

Originally released in Japan in 2011 for the PlayStation Portable handheld entertainment system, Final Fantasy Type-0 will be coming to the West as an HD remaster for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft. In addition, Final Fantasy Agito, already available in Japan, is confirmed for a Western release on iOS and Android devices.

“The voice of our Western fans was instrumental in the development of Final Fantasy Type-0, and we’re very excited to release this title soon,” said Hajime Tabata, director of Final Fantasy Type-0. “The new PlayStation 4 system and Xbox One gaming and entertainment platform have really helped to re-envision this dynamic and turbulent world of Orience.”

The war-torn land of Orience is also the setting for Final Fantasy Agito, where players on iOS and Android mobile devices take on the role of a cadet in the Dominion of Rubrum as they aim to become Agito, a prophesized savior of Orience.

Some key features for Final Fantasy Agito include

• Character Customization - Create a unique character in the world of Final Fantasy Agito. Players have access to a variety of character customization options, including gender, facial features, hairstyles and more.

• Player Choice - Interact with other cadets at Akademeia, including key characters from Final Fantasy Type-0. The decisions players make at the Akademeia will affect the course of history in the game, which in turn will affect the worldwide player community.

• Missions - Players can head out on missions to raise their level, and find/craft their ultimate weapon. Players can also confront powerful enemies in large-scale, cooperative battles involving the entire Final Fantasy Agito player population.

Final Fantasy Agito will be available for free download with in-app purchases on iOS and Android Devices. No release date has been confirmed for either title at this time.

【E3 2014】《新生Final Fantasy XIV :Realm Reborn》 2.4 改版资讯释出忍者及双剑士情报

Square Enix 在美国时间6 月10 日，E3 2014 展期中举行的影像实况「Square Enix Presents」上，释出了由MMORPG PC / PS3 / PS4《Final Fantasy XIV：新生艾奥杰亚》制作人吉田直树公开关于新生FF XIV 最新情报的「出差制作人的信件LIVE in E3」。

新职业「双剑士」以及新进阶职业「忍者」首度公开预计2.4 版实装

这次「出差制作人的信件LIVE in E3」中，首度公开了关于新职业「双剑士」以及进阶职业「忍者」的情报，两个新职业都预计将于2.4 版中实装。

双剑士过去虽被称作盗贼，但是由于透过战斗提升自我技术的关系，因此现在被称为「双剑士」，定位是DPS 职。

双剑士平常移动速度较快，相较于其他职业落下时所受到的伤害会较轻等。在攻击时能将武器涂毒，而毒的种类又分为很多种，玩家可因应不同场合使用，玩法也会更加广泛。此外，双剑士可使用隐形，并且会有搭配隐形时才可使用的技能。

进阶职业「忍者」，除了包含双剑士的特色外，再加上可使用「印（忍术）」。

印的种类可分为很多种，在战斗时将各种印结合并且完成，便可初次发动忍术。吉田表示：「就像海外的玩家心中所想像的忍者那种感觉」，并表示「与武僧等职不同，虽然较不需要在意走位，但是如果不好好控制毒及印的使用，将会无法造成伤害」，透过吉田的叙述能推测忍者相较于武僧是一个较吃重技巧的职业。

介绍新职业及进阶职业的最后，吉田表示：「虽然有人会认为『没有坦职跟补职的新职业及进阶职吗』，但由于我们目前还在制作扩充包，到发表前请耐心等候。」因此扩充包的什么时候会发表也是值得注意的一点。

《最终幻想》将公开全新作游戏类型前所未有

　　《最终幻想7》近日推出了一款手游《最终幻想7 G-BIKE》想必令许多玩家大跌眼镜。虽然早有耳闻会有一款《最终幻想7》相关的游戏推出，但谁也不会想到竟是一款跑酷类型的游戏。而据Fami通透露，在6月19日发售的杂志上还会公开一款《最终幻想》相关的全新作品，而且似乎是该系列前所未有的游戏类型。此外，Fami通杂志还会附送讲述《最终幻想13》系列完结后故事的小册子“最终幻想13 REMINISCENCE -tracer of memories- 追忆 -记忆的追迹者-”，敬请期待。

Final Fantasy Explorers is in development for the Nintendo 3DS, this week’s issue of Jump magazine reveals. The game is a multiplayer action RPG, where you search for crystals while battling the Summons in your way.

Final Fantasy Explorers will let you select from multiple Jobs, each with their own role. Jump’s reveal shows the Black Mage, White Mage, Knight and Monk.

The Black Mage attacks using magic and specializes in long-range attacks. The White Mage, as always, is focused on recovery spells.

The Monk’s description should come as no surprise to anyone that has played Final Fantasy before either—he’s the representative for physical attacks. Jump says he “overwhelms the enemy with his surging dash”. Finally, the Knight serves as the party’s shield, by attracting the enemy’s attacks.

Jump says that many Jobs from the Final Fantasy series will be present in Final Fantasy Explorers. Parties can consist of up to four players, and you’ll need to use each Job effectively to take on the enemy. The goal of the campaign is to defeat the different generations of Summons.

According to Jump, Final Fantasy Explorers will have a large variety of weapons to choose from. The magazine also shows Ifrit as one of the Summons in the game.

　　SE《最终幻想》系列新作，3DS平台《最终幻想：探求者（FFEX）》日前官网正式开启，游戏类型为多人联机动作RPG游戏，最多支持4人联机。这种玩法的确是该系列从未有过的，而且还包含了过去系列中登场的“召唤兽”、“怪物”、“职业系统”等要素，即便不进行联机单人也可享受，官网可以进入http://www.jp.square-enix.com/ffex/ 查看。
