Uncountable Nouns problem

How do we know some word is Uncountable Nouns ?

I only know that some things cannot be calculated with the fingers belong to uncountable nouns.

Why furniture is an uncountable nouns?

Furniture which means many kind of furniture for example:chairs,table,mirror and TV. So furniture is uncountable........another example fruit is also uncountable nounfruit has many type as well such as orange,apple,banana and so on

Hi , it is very easy to understand why "furniture" are uncountable noun.

When the said item was a names for groups or collections of things for example: furniture, equipment, rubbish and luggage
