The all-new core series Pokemon RPG for Switch first teased at E3 2017 will launch in the second half of 2019, The Pokemon Company announced during the Pokemon 2018 Video Game Press Conference.
During a Q&A session, The Pokemon Company said the late 2019-due title will be completely new and will not follow up on the newly announced Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee, nor will it be influenced by Pokemon GO. While Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee are more focused on home gaming, the late 2019-due Pokemon RPG will be more focused on elements of the handheld games. It has been in development since before the Switch was released.
Further information was not announced.
Here are some additional details from the Q&A session with The Pokemon Company following the official announcement:
Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee
The original 151 and some Alolan form Pokemon (like Exeggutor) are included.
There will not be any wild Pokemon battles, but you can battle other trainers.
One completely new Pokemon will appear. This special Pokemon can be met by linking Pokemon Go. Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee can connect to Pokemon GO via Bluebooth technology. There are other gameplay ideas that have yet to be announced regarding how the games will connect. Those who play both will be rewarded.
Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee are viewed as the next step for players brought in by Pokemon GO to continue with the series, which is why the catching interface / models are the same.
No online features are planned.
You will still be able to trade and battle, but will need multiple Switch units for that. You can also have multiple accounts on the same console, however.
Nintendo engineers helped create the Poke Ball Plus. The idea was to create the closest thing to an actual Poke Ball that really felt like it has a Pokemon inside.
Late 2019-due Pokemon RPG
The late 2019-due Pokemon RPG will be completely new and will not follow up on Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee, nor will it be influenced by Pokemon GO. Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee are more focused on home gaming, but the late 2019-due Pokemon RPG will be more focused on elements of the handheld games. Pokemon Quest
There is no data share feature between the Switch and smartphone versions of Pokemon Quest. An active Internet connection is also not required.
And here are even more details from a Q&A with Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda:
You will not be able to evolve your partner Pokemon, but you can catch a wild Pikachu or Eevee and evolve them.
Your partner Pokemon will take up one of your six party slots, and you will be able to box it. Boxes work differently in that you now have a box in your bag.
The ability to transfer from Pokemon GO to Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee opens up about halfway through the game. After that, you’ll be able to do it freely. There are also mini-games you can play when transferring over many Pokemon.
Candy from Pokemon GO will not not have any effect in Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee. Masuda was not able to say whether you will be able to transfer Pokemon from the Switch games and turn them into candy.
Players will automatically ride any Pokemon that is large enough.
There will not be HMs.
You will earn EXP from catching Pokemon and trainer battles.
Event Pokemon from Pokemon GO cannot be transferred to Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee.
The controls for catching Pokemon in handheld mode will have you moving the console around and pressing a button to throw. There are no touch screen controls, and using the gyro functionality is required.
Information was shared about Z-Mode or Mega Evolutions appearing in Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee was not shared.
They have yet to lock down how experience from capturing Pokemon and trainer battles will be distributed (evenly, per Pokemon etc.).
Trading and battling will be available through local wireless play between Switch units and same-screen play (but not online).
The map of Kanto will be very similar to the original landmass, but there will be graphical differences. You will not go to Johto.
Although there are some Alolan forms of Pokemon in Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee, there are otherwise no connections between it and Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon.
All the usual differences when it comes to there being two versions of a Pokemon game will apply.
The mythical Pokemon Mew will come exclusive with every Poke Ball Plus accessory, and can join players on their adventure in Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee, Nintendo announced during the E3 2018 Nintendo Direct.

Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! new trailer; catching, battling, gyms, and more details

The Pokemon Company has released a new trailer, information, and screenshots of Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! detailing version differences, catching Pokemon, battling Pokemon trainers, the Kanto region, cities and Pokemon gyms, interacting with Pokemon, and playing with friends.
Version Differences
Although the storyline is the same in both Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, there are some differences between the two versions. Of course, your first partner Pokemon will be either Pikachu or Eevee depending on which version you get, but the types and rarity of the wild Pokemon that you encounter also differ between the two games. For example, Pokemon like Oddish, Sandshrew, and Growlithe only appear in the wild in Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!, while Bellsprout, Vulpix, and Meowth are only found in the wild in Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee!
Catching Pokemon
If you’re familiar with previous Pokemon RPGs, you’ll find that catching Pokemon works a bit differently in this game. As you wander through the game’s world, you’ll encounter wild Pokemon wandering around in fields of tall grass. If you see a Pokemon you want to attempt to catch, simply approach it.
Once you touch the Pokemon, you’ll get a chance to throw Poke Balls at it in a manner very similar to the mobile game Pokemon GO. The wild Pokemon will move around and may try to intimidate you, but don’t get distracted! Just wave your Joy-Con controller with proper timing to throw a Poke Ball. If you’re playing the Nintendo Switch in handheld mode, you’ll move the system around to aim and then throw the Poke Ball by pressing the A Button.
Your chances of catching a Pokemon increase depending on your timing and where your Poke Ball hits the target. Throwing a Poke Ball inside the moving ring will increase the chances of a successful catch, especially if the ring is small. The color of the ring shows how easy it will be to catch the Pokemon—with green meaning easy and red meaning hard.
Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!
Catching wild Pokemon will give the Pokemon in your party Exp. Points. Once a Pokemon has gained enough Exp. Points, it will level up. Your Pokemon’s stats will increase when they level up, and sometimes the Pokemon will even learn new moves!
You can make catching Pokemon even easier by switching up the type of Poke Ball you’re using or giving the wild Pokemon a Berry. If you happen to run out of Poke Balls, you can buy more from Poke Marts throughout the region, and you’ll also receive them after defeating other Trainers in battle. As you earn Gym Badges, the lineup of products at Poke Marts will increase and you’ll be able to buy better Poke Balls that have a greater chance of catching wild Pokemon.
Battling Pokemon Trainers
It’s not just wild Pokemon that you’ll face off against in Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! During your journey, there will be some Pokemon Trainers who will challenge you to a battle. If a Pokemon Trainer sees you in the field, it’s time for battle. The battles here function much like those in previous Pokemon RPGs, so longtime fans will feel right at home.
In addition to selecting moves, you can switch out a Pokemon if it’s about to faint—or use an item to support it. If you defeat a Pokemon Trainer, your Pokemon will gain Exp. Points and you’ll receive prize money and sometimes Poke Balls.
The Kanto Region
The Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! video game is based on Pokemon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition, which was first released on Nintendo’s portable Game Boy system in Japan in 1998. Like the setting of that classic RPG adventure, this game takes place in the Kanto region. It’s amazing to see how it has visually evolved after 20 years.
The Kanto region is a varied locale, filled with small towns, cities, mountains, rivers, forests, and seas. There is a wide variety of places to explore and plenty of Pokemon to be found in various habitats. You’ll begin your journey in Pallet Town, a relatively small civic center that’s also home to your friendly rival, who just so happens to be your next-door neighbor.
Pallet Town is also home to Professor Oak, whose laboratory is near your home. The kindly professor studies Pokemon for a living, and he gives you a valuable gift before you set out—your Pokedex, a high-tech encyclopedia that automatically records data on any new species of Pokemon that you catch! He hopes to one day see a Pokedex completed. Will you help him fulfill that dream?
Cities and Pokemon Gyms
After leaving Pallet Town, you’ll eventually make your way to new places, including Pewter City, which sits at the foot of a great stone mountain. This city is the home of the Pewter Museum of Science, which has many Fossils on display. You’ll also meet Brock, the Pewter City Gym Leader who is sometimes referred to as the rock-solid Pokemon Trainer.
Pokemon Gyms are places for Pokemon Trainers to test their skill in battle. Before entering a Gym, you must meet certain conditions such as having Pokemon of a certain type or level. Once you qualify for entry, you’ll face off in Pokemon battles against a series of challenging opponents, culminating in a battle against the Gym Leader in the hope of earning a coveted Gym Badge.
Brock is an expert with Rock-type Pokemon, so you’ll want to be sure to have some Pokemon on your team that will give you a type advantage in battle.
After leaving Pewter City, it won’t be long before you arrive in Cerulean City, a place that’s bordered by waterways. When visiting this city, be on the lookout for a mischievous Squirtle that has been spotted in the area. The Gym Leader Misty waits in the Cerulean City Gym for Trainers to challenge her to battle. Also known as the tomboyish mermaid, it should come as no surprise to learn that Misty is an expert with Water-type Pokemon. Defeat her, and another Gym Badge is yours!
Interact with Pokemon
In between exploring and battling, it’s a good idea to relax with your Pokemon buddies. In Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, you can enjoy a little playtime with Pikachu or Eevee to strengthen your bond with them. Your partner Pokemon will sit on your arm, allowing you to pet, feed, and even tickle it. Not only is this little diversion adorable, but good things are likely to happen as the two of you become closer.
You can also feel closer to your partner Pokemon by dressing alike! Yes, you can dress up your partner Pokemon in various outfits, give it accessories, and change its hairstyle. Coordinate your wardrobes by matching their outfit to yours or mix and match different items to give your partner its own style.
It’s not just your partner Pokemon that you can interact with, though. Any Pokemon in the game can be your traveling companion. When you take a Pokemon out of its Poke Ball, it will walk with you to make your journey even more fun. As you explore the Kanto region with them, your Pokemon might even find hidden items. Plus, different Pokemon can travel in different ways. Some Pokemon will even let you ride them, allowing you to move faster around the Pokemon world. It’s a great way to experience the adventure with your favorite Pokemon! 作者: kirassss 时间: 2018-7-12 10:13 PM 本帖最后由 kirassss 于 2018-7-12 10:28 PM 编辑
Play with Friends
One of the things that makes the world of Pokemon so engaging is the ability to interact with other Trainers during your adventure. In this sense, Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! do not disappoint thanks to their Support Play, which allows two players to explore the world together. (Both players can have a Pokemon travel alongside them as well!)
You can boost your chances of catching a wild Pokemon by throwing Poke Balls at the same time as your Support Trainer during Support Play. You can join in as a Support Trainer by waving the second controller, even after a wild Pokemon has already been encountered! Throwing the Poke Ball at the right time makes it more likely you’ll catch the Pokemon, and it will earn your party more Exp. Points, too.
Support Play can even give you an advantage in Pokemon battles against other Trainers. Team up with a friend, and you’ll both be able to control a Pokemon and issue it commands during the match.
You’ll also be able to connect with other players and battle them, too! There are two communication features to use for battles: local communication, which connects two nearby Nintendo Switch consoles, and internet communication, which lets you connect to players who may be far away.
And battling isn’t the only way to play with your friends. You can also trade Pokemon using these communication features to gather Pokemon you’ve never seen before and complete your Pokedex.
Please note that in order to use the internet-based communication features for battling and trading, you will need to enroll in the Nintendo Switch Online service that officially starts in September.
Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! are due out for Switch worldwide on November 16.
Mega Evolutions and More Revealed in Latest Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! Announcement
The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo announced new details about Mega Evolution and much more in the highly anticipated Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! games, releasing later this year on the Nintendo Switch™ system. Both games are designed for players taking their first steps into the Pokémon video game world as well as longtime fans wanting a new way to play Pokémon.
Don’t Just Evolve—Mega Evolve
In Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, players will be able to Mega Evolve a Pokémon once per battle if they have a Key Stone and the Mega Stone corresponding to that specific Pokémon. Mega Evolution, known as “the Evolution that transcends Evolution,” momentarily unleashes the energy within a Pokémon and can only be accomplished when a strong bond exists between the Pokémon and its Trainer. The first three Pokémon that fans will be able to Mega Evolve during their adventure will be Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise.
Explore Iconic Kanto Region Location Vermilion City
Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! will bring players to a variety of interesting locations in the Kanto region, including Vermilion City, where the luxury cruise liner the S.S. Anne docks once a year. In the Vermilion City Pokémon Gym, players can battle Gym Leader Lt. Surge, who is also known as the Lightning Lieutenant.
Here Comes Team Rocket!
Team Rocket, a nefarious organization set on using the world’s Pokémon in despicable plots to make money, is another example of the diverse cast of characters that players will encounter in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! This includes the most famous members of Team Rocket—Jessie, James, and Meowth!
Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch on November 16, 2018. For all information, please visit pokemonletsgo.pokemon.com.作者: kirassss 时间: 2018-8-19 10:43 AM 本帖最后由 kirassss 于 2018-8-20 06:59 PM 编辑

Exciting New Details Unveiled in Latest Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! Trailer!
The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo announced new information about the highly anticipated Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! games, including Legendary Pokémon battles, GO Park information, a new Candy system and more!
In Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, you’ll be able to use a Bluetooth connection to bring Pokémon you’ve caught in Pokémon GO into the Kanto region to join you on your adventures. Pokémon that are transferred from Pokémon GO will appear in a place called the GO Park complex, which is located in Fuchsia City. The GO Park complex is made up of 20 individual GO Parks, and you can keep up to 50 Pokémon in each one. To take Pokémon stored in the GO Park complex on your journey across the Kanto region, you will have to find and catch them within a GO Park first. You are not limited to connecting with just your own Pokémon GO account, though—there is no limit to the number of Pokémon GO accounts that can be tied to a single save file, so you can receive Pokémon from your friends and family, too. Once you have 25 of the same species of Pokémon in the GO Park complex, you will be able to play a special minigame to win Candies. By using the GO Park complex, you can even transfer Alolan form Pokémon into Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!
By using Candies in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, players will be able to power up their Pokémon. Pokémon will grow stronger after taking part in battles, but by giving your Pokémon Candies, you will be able to raise the specific stats of that Pokémon. Different types of Candies will have different effects—for example, some can increase a Pokémon’s Attack and others can increase a Pokémon’s Speed or Defense. These Candies can be obtained in a variety of ways, including by transferring Pokémon to Professor Oak, by successfully completing games in the GO Park complex’s Play Yard or by taking your Pokémon for a stroll via the Poké Ball Plus* device. By collecting and utilizing these Candies, you can create a very strong Pokémon team.
In the Pokémon world, there are incredibly powerful Pokémon that are rarely seen but are spoken about in the region’s myths. These are known as Legendary Pokémon. In the Kanto region, players will be able to find several Legendary Pokémon, including the Legendary bird Pokémon—Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. The way to catch these Pokémon in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! is different from how you would catch most other Pokémon. You have to defeat these Pokémon in intense battle before you can have a chance to catch them. It won’t be easy, but once you manage to catch them, these Pokémon can follow you throughout your adventure.
Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! will be available exclusively on Nintendo Switch on 16 November 2018. For more information, please visit pokemonletsgo.pokemon.com.

Most of Meltan’s body is made from liquid metal, and its shape is very fluid. It can use its liquid arms and legs to corrode metal and absorb it into its own body.
Meltan generates electricity using the metal it absorbs from outside sources. It uses this electricity as an energy source and also as an attack that can be fired from its eye.
Clearly a curious Pokemon, Meltan is very expressive and shows an interest in all kinds of things.
Mysterious Pokemon GO Sightings
Many reports have come in about sightings of Ditto in Pokemon GO that have transformed into Meltan. The number of sightings has significantly decreased over the past few days, but it appears these “Meltan” are still appearing in various areas.
Research is being conducted on these appearances of Meltan, but we have learned that Pokemon GO is somehow key to meeting this curious new Pokemon in Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! We’ll be sure to provide updates as we discover more!
The Professors Weigh In!
The appearance of this new Pokemon has attracted the attention of Professor Oak and Professor Willow. What do these two experts have to share about Meltan?
—Professor Oak (Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee!)
Professor Oak does his research on Pokemon at his laboratory in the Kanto region’s Pallet Town. He is one of the leading authorities in the field of Pokemon research. In Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, he gives a Pokedex to both you and your rival—entrusting you with his dream of completing it.
—Professor Willow (Pokemon GO)
Professor Willow’s research centers around plenty of fieldwork—and the help of Pokemon GO players all over the world—to fully understand the habitats and distribution of Pokemon. He was once an assistant to Professor Oak, and it seems he talks to his mentor whenever he runs into a hitch in his research.
Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! are due out for Switch on November 16.

The Mystery Box Holds the Key to Catching Meltan
We now know that Meltan appears in Pokemon GO. In order to catch Meltan, it is essential to have a Mystery Box, which can be received by sending Pokemon from Pokemon GO to Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee!.
Sending Pokemon from Pokemon GO into one of the Nintendo Switch titles will get you certain items in the app, such as Candies for the species of Pokemon you sent. However, the first time you send a Pokemon, you’ll also be able to get a very special item: a Mystery Box!
The Mystery Box closes itself after it’s used once. The only way to open it again is to wait a set amount of time, and then send another Pokemon to Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! You can also get a Mystery Box for sending Pokemon to a friend’s Nintendo Switch game, but you can only have one Mystery Box at a time!
Meltan will begin to appear once a Mystery Box is opened in Pokemon GO, but be careful—they’ll only appear for the player that opened the Mystery Box. Touch a Meltan you see on the field map, and then try to catch it with a Poke Ball!
You can then bring the Meltan you catch in Pokemon GO to Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, where it can follow you around during your adventure in the Kanto region. Even if you don’t catch Meltan in Pokemon GO yourself, you can ask a friend to send one that they’ve caught into your Nintendo Switch game.
