my sentence :
I hope to improve my english level within these few month before I enter into University.
Is there any centre which can improve english but the fee is not so expensive?
I live in Johor . I want to find the centre which is nearby my house. johor jaya also can

proper sentence
i wish to improve my english proficiency within couple of month before i entering university.
is there any language centre could help me out with minimum fees due to my budget constraint.
I live in johor and i prefer centre which near my house, perhaps johor jaya.

to improve your english grammar/conversation
u must avoid using Chinglish(chinese+english).
For instance, 'also can'
it is fragment,
u can put it like this 'johor jaya is acceptable too'

Agreed with Henry-Jay.
Unless your basic grammar is bad, as the grammar is the 1st step to master English.

If you think your grammar level is acceptable, what you need to do is just read more, talk more!

It's very less common in 'MY' who want to learn french, some more in korean or japanese language.
I'm also interested in learning french.
just know a little phrase for daily use though

lz, here's some advice for you if you dont mind
actually i think sometimes the best way is learning by ourself in this field through reading material such as reading online news.
You'll learn many vocabs or sentences structure after a long period.
Because I'm have been doing it for almost 3 months.
And when i take english exam, it isnt a hard task for me anymore to interpret eng essay or research.

Actually, your English will automatically improve once you are in U. It takes about 1 year for you to get use to it.
Then you'll be able to speak in English due to the environment factors.

Lz, I really think your English proficiency is above the average Malaysian's. Don't think you'll need any of those English training centre to improve your English. Like most of the people says, read and talk more...

i'm not sure about the centre stuffs since i'm not from johor~
but i hav a recommendation for you~
try to communicate more in english~
not just typing, but also reading and speaking~
there's a lot of cases where they only know how to write a perfect essay but unable to communicate in english verbally~

Agree with the others, you would just need to communicate more in english, immerse yourself in the english speaking environment. Believe me, it would definitely improve your english proficiency.

Also, forget about joining Sunway College for the english course, I have tried it and i personally think that it does not really help.

Unless you are learning foreign languages like Japanese, French etc, I don't think it's necessary to learn English from language centres. (But if you are very rich, please go ahead)
Other ways to learn: Listen to English songs and sing along to the lyrics, watch Singapore's CH5 news with the subtitles, read more English books/ newspapers, speak more in English...

从我背包旅行的经验感悟到
那就是生活中的交谈比纸上谈兵还重要
大学生活需要书写、与同学老师沟通、做presentation，但总归一句，英文这东西，有那个实力，倒不如有那个勇气。
与那些洋人沟通时，其实也不会用到过于正式的英文，反正他们听的懂最重要。
就像一句“你要和我一起去吗？”一样， do you want to come along with me? 这样的说法很简单，甚至还有更深、更深的说法，都是比较正式的。
日常对话中，坦白说我也只是说了一句 “You wanna go?”，搭配问句式要求的尾音稍高 + 一些肢体动作，最重要的是，呵呵，对方听的懂。
可能我是读设计的，所以所谓的tertiary studies……大专、大学等，文法方面不会要求得太高，因为也只是书写design concept、做presentation的时候偏向idea selling 而已。
就看你是读什么的，照顾好日常对话以外，再根据科系对症下药比较快。

不过，旅行中。有位自称是英文老师的婆婆告诉我，to make your speak outstanding, 所以你需要学习“好的英文”

the english centre that i heard, the fee is quite expensive.

I am worried about my english proficiency because I decide to study pharmacy.
Pharmacy course need a good english command.

I can write in words like now. But I cant really speak in english very fluently like typing in english.

我觉得你的英文不错的了。我以过来人的身份劝你别浪费钱读那些短期的英文课，因为当你上了大学经常用英文书写的话，英文自然而然就会越来越好，不信的话，你可以在几年后比较下你目前的英文程度，你会发现你的英文进步神速哦。不过这是我的经验之谈吧，你可以参考参考。

I am not so sure about the ELS programme, the one I went through was called IEP. Not really helpful though. Try to speak more in English, maybe you can try listen to English fm? It helps me a lot.

My advise to you is don't waste the money on the english course.
1st, you can try to speak more among ur friends. It help a lot in communication between u n ur friends.
Next, try to read more english article and watch more english movie. It will help you in ur understanding of english.
The most important is don't be too shy or scare to speak. We learn from mistake.
Last, my lecturer told us don't think that the more complex word you used,the more deep of knowledge you have.
Use the simple word.

Sometime, I dont know how to speak in english.
I am used to speak in mandarin .

the most important you had mentioned , dont be shy.
Maybe I will feel shame when I found out I speak in the wrong grammar or speak something funny..

Maybe some movies you've seen before, or some which have dual subtitles that includes a language you know better like the poster above me mentioned, just for your better understanding about what's going on then related to everything you've heard and read in the movie.

i suggest a tv series named "merlin".
This tv series has 5 seasons and it had been starting playing at TV3 already~

try to watch more americans, british movie & u will understand better
as well as improve your vocabulary in no time...
grammar error will not pull u down as long as u know how to respond to others questions u will be safe...

I am going to buy some english novels too.. if I have time to go to the book store.
